Great apartment complex. All staff friendly and professional - maintenance is the best I have ever experienced in apartment living.
This is one of the best apartments I lived so far. I spent 4 years of my life at this place and I will never regret for it. What is best about it is its on-time service and maintenance provided to you not only when you are a new resident but also throughout your stay. The office staff is very helpful and understands the residents very well. Staff is just great not only as office staff but also as people in general. They never lost a package of mine. Very well organized and friendly staff. The service/maintenance guys are just great, they fix the issues on-time and in the right way. All people associated with this property are professional. The indoor garage is cleaned in a timely manner. The walkway between apartments has a carpet and it is cleaned very frequently. No bad smell at all. The laundry rooms are kept neat and clean. The parking lots are resurfaced and lined when required. It was done once when I was there. Overall me and my family felt secure about living here. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an apartment close to this area. The prices are also not bad and remember the parking is included and is heated. That was Awesome.
Very nice, small apartments, though it doesn't look like much from the outside and the layout is confusing
Mountain Village is one of the Styza properties in SE Wisconsin. I've lived at this property for two years and have had generally positive experiences. The staff here are friendly and do their best to make this feel like "home". All of my maintenance requests have been promptly dealt with and have never experienced any issues with work being done poorly. The staff at the main office are very knowledgable about the property and follow up with phone calls promptly. All of the buildings are secured by keyed entry, all buildings have underground parking, and lot parking is always well plowed/salted in the winter and there is plenty of space available year round. In terms of the apartments - they're very reasonably priced considering the location, and are in great condition given the age of the property. Many units undergo "upgrades" frequently (new carpets, new appliances, track lighting installed in kitchens, drywall patching, new floors in kitchen, new washer/dryers, etc). When touring the available units I was impressed with how well kept the apartments are by the property management (both inside and outside). The free heat included works very well in the cold months. Most of the appliances inside the units are energy efficient. The sound is standard to what many apartment buildings are like ... noise travels near the doors and hallway, but within the units they are well insulated so your neighbors do not disturb you with talking or other noise. Living in a lower unit I did not experience the loud "footsteps" you typically would hear from upper units with apartments that are not well constructed. Living here was generally quiet and comfortable. The only issue I have about this place are the tenants that smoke in their apartments. This is a "smoke-free" property but it's still an issue (smell of smoke getting into bathrooms/bedrooms via air vents and windows). Management is aware of this and do follow up if you file a complaint, but I've rarely seen that change the habits of those who do smoke in their unit. Unfortunately you cannot control the people who live around you, so I've countered this by using air fresheners in my bathroom and bedroom.
I was looking to move into Mountain Village several months ago, the people were so nice and friendly. They told me that I had to put money down right away for the apartment so I did because I honestly did love it. For several days straight I tried contacting them over and over and left voicemails and I never once got a phone call back so finally I went there to see what was going on and the one lady was on her own cell phone talking to her brother and saw me standing there and didn't even acknowledge me. I sat there for 5 minutes and she finally said she had to go and didn't even apologize for being on her cell phone. They put up a face and then become so rude. Then the apartment I wanted wasnt available and refused to give me my money back that I put down to hold my spot. It was such a mess and I would never suggest this apartment building to ANYONE!
