This apartment is very nice. While you can hear the street outside, some sound dampening curtains will fix that. The management cares about making your life pretty secure and hassle free. Everything that I have mentioned to them has been handled quickly and professionally. The property manager cares about making this a great place to live and you can see strides in the right direction as changes are made throughout the property.
I lived here 2.5 years. The apartments themselves are decent... BUT management changes monthly which leads to a lot of confusion. I was going month to month when I moved out. A month or so later I got a notice that I owed them $1200 when in fact they owed me money. They misbilled me because my file was wrong regarding month to month. Luckily I had email proof and get this changed but when it came to getting my deposit back (took 4 months) the amount was short by around $300. When I followed up they claimed that I had not been charged the "month to month premiums" essentially if you value transparency this corporation will try to frustrate you to no end to keep your security deposit. They also rent to a lot of students who happen to love modified muscle cars. So many issues with people reving their cars with racing exhausts in the middle of the night. Lots of smoking in the stairwells and people essentially just being bad members of the community... The management is powerless to do anything about it. They claim they would "fine" people for violations but this is an empty threat. This inconsiderate element still just didn't care. Apartments themselves are ok and the location is convenient to route 15 but besides that the corporate managers are terrible! Look elsewhere if you can. If you are a professional you don't want to live among immature students
I've been a resident of this property for a year niw and can't think if a better place to live. The staff is friendly, courteous and extremely attentive to the needs of the tenants. I would certainly recommend this property for both single and families. Love it! T. Speakes
Overall, I have lived in this apartment complex for 3 years and moving out in June. I cannot wait for my lease to be up, as this has been a horrific experience with new management (Kevin Reid). I have received countless emails from him, creating new ways he can fine residents for outrageous reasons. The apartments themselves are not luxury, as they have paper thin walls and can hear everything. Elevators are constantly broken down, which provides an inconvenience. I am a 30 year who works long nursing hours, and am not allowed to use dishwasher, washer, nor dryer appliances. Kevin Reid has allotted specific times for usage, which is ridiculous. He is very unprofessional and very condescending. Westville Village is not a quality apartment complex as it was compared to when I moved in 3 years ago, in terms of management. I will however, say the maintenance crew is very great and consistent.
worse place i have ever lived in
