I am coming up on 3 years living here, and I really do love it. Unfortunately, my roommate and I have "outgrown" the living space, and don't want to pay for a storage garage. The layout of the apartment is great, maintenance is always quick to come when called, the pool and gym are kept up with, the outside areas are always kept clean (and if not, a call to the office will get them on your neighbors), and I hardly ever hear neighboring units or pets. The only problem I've had with this complex is their trash system. You bring your trash to the compressor yourself, and it's really quite annoying having to walk it all the way down, or figuring out how to attach it to your car so you don't have to stick it inside it. If the trash system were more convenient for the residents, this place would be a 5 star, easily.
This place can easily get 5 stars! The only reason I gave it a 4 is because there are a bunch of college kids who play their music extremely loud and it's annoying but the office staff is quick to address it. Other than that, the apartments are well maintained, the office staff is AH-MAZ-ING, and the amenities are nice. We've lived here for years with no plans to move because it's that awesome. And yes, I'm a real person, not paid by the office to leave a review lol.
Cypress Legends was the best apartment community that I have ever lived in, hands down. I had to move to the Tampa area to finish my Master's degree, but I honestly miss my old apartment every day. I lived there for 2.5 years and it was great. The apartment layouts are perfect, and offer plenty of living space. The community offers great amenities, such as dog park, pest control (this is the only Florida apartment that I have rented where I NEVER saw a single roach in my apartment), well-kept pool and fitness room, and gated access at all times. I felt very safe and secure here. Maintenance responds quickly and effectively. The only "con" I can offer is that their late fees are excessive and they are very unforgiving if you submit rent late, even by one day. I had an extenuating circumstance that necessitated paying rent the day after it was due and was hit with late fees in excess of $125 or so. That issue aside, I would move back to Cypress Legends in a heartbeat if I choose to move back to the Fort Myers area in the future
Amazing management team. No clue why someone would leave a bad review. Its a place of business too! Of course they do "anything" for money! But they also are very nice, understanding and the while team is great at getting right back to you if you have any questions or need something fixed.:)
it sucks they do anything for money
