We have been here about a month now. I am recently separated and have a teenage daughter. I was very concerned about apartment living having lived in a house for over 20 years. We looked at 6 other apartments before we came here. Both of us loved it immediately. It is close to where our house was, and in some cases, closer to our favorite shopping and recreation venues. We both love to cook and the kitchen is spacious compared to others we saw. It is actually relatively quiet here, less noise than I was expecting, and so far any service requests I have made were handled the same day I requested them. Management has also been very helpful and reassuring during this difficult time in my life. There is actually quite a bit of storage space, but since we are coming from a 2000 sq. ft. house, we are still in the process of sifting through everything and determining what we really need to keep and the place looks pretty cluttered, think poster child for "Hoarders," at the moment, but all in all, we love it here.
Overall the experience wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for the horrible management. Christina and Julie the 2 Leasing consultants are hidious. Extremely rude, fake and lazy. They don't love their job, they hope for tenants to move out so they can sign another lease with someone else for commission. They don't care who moves in, drug dealers, gangsters +++ They are very nice while they show you the apartments but after you sign the lease they don't care about concerns you might have. The work-out area is old and most equipment is not working. The hot tub is cold most of the year and nobody cares about fixing it. Up to 8 Teenagers move in a two bedroom apartment, so you will have noise all night long. There are drug dealers here, who come and go at all times of the hour with obnoxious cars that are extremely loud. You will hear drug dealers leave for deals constantly, every hour. Rent goes Up $120 every year. No matter how long you have lived here, how good of a tenant you are. HIGHLANDS RANCH? WHY AM I PAYING A PREMIUM HERE? THIS IS TURNING INTO AURORA!!!! And who's fault? = Management.
Awful experience. Steer clear. We rented one of their 3-bedroom units for about a year and a half. Our furnace broke twice during the winter and it took two requests to fix it the first time. Echoing another review, management is extremely rude and took pleasure with sticking us with an $1800.00 bill after we moved out and generally being discourteous - how they are still employed I couldn't tell you. Sheriff's department is there regularly due to car break-ins and will tell you the same - I was physically assaulted outside my unit once and I know at least one other assault took place while we were there. Other than all that, it's not bad.
I currently live here. worst maintenance and lazy staff.
I currently live at Copper Canyon Apartments. I like living here. It's clean, well managed and comfortable. Rarely do I hear my neighbors and I think the walls are thicker than any place else I ever lived. Maintenance is very good, friendly and efficient. Management does everything possible to make tenants comfortable. The units are in good condition and if something breaks, they fix it the next day!!!! The club house is awesome!
