The Village features affordable rents, market price and tax-credit pricing, and is comprised of 147 units, featuring 22 one-bedroom, one-bath, 76 two-bedroom, one-bath and 12 two-bedroom, two-bath apartments, and 37 two-bedroom, two-bath cottage-style apartments.
Rents are based on the median income of Oakland County. Affordable Housing Program (Tax-credit) lease rents range from $675 to $863 monthly, and the range of market price rents is $910 to $1,325. Leases are for 12 months.
The Village offers full kitchen appliances with a stacked washer and dryer in each apartment and a full sized washer and dryer in each cottage, and individually controlled central air conditioning and heating. Each unit has a balcony or patio. Cottage residents have attached garages, and apartment residents have access to carports for a $20 monthly fee.
Meals are available for an additional charge, with a resident paying only for what he or she chooses to purchase. Meal plans are available. The Village features spacious community areas and include a library, fitness center, rooms for games, crafts and computers, a movie theater, beauty salon/barber shop and 24-hour emergency maintenance service. Each resident has the option to wear an emergency call system device. Barrier-free apartments are available. We are a pet friendly community welcoming max of 2 pets per resident, both under 20 pounds.
