Can I post 0 stars? Do yourself a favor, and honor the reviews. A week after living here, a police officer rolled up to my car and advised me to move out because of the "activities" they're always called here for. That was scary.. We only moved in here because they were the only apartment to allow German Shepherds. The prices are absurd, the steps are dangerous, there's black mold growing in my bathroom, and I have to pay an extra months rent after I move out because I missed the clause stating that we must proved 60 days notice to vacate even if our lease is up. I asked the office of they'd work with us as $1700 is ridiculous for a month we won't even be living here, and they replied by saying "no". The complex is sketchy and I feel unsafe. If you expect snow to be removed, you're only kidding yourself. Seriously, just don't do it..
I have lived at Waterfield Court for almost 5 years. There has been 3 different management groups here since I moved in. I have to say that this one is by far the best one yet. The office staff is extremely helpful. Anytime I have had an issue they have addressed it quickly and as best as they can. The assistant manager Danielle has been very helpful when it comes to any bigger issues that I have had. I have also dealt with the community manager Denise a few times. She has gone above and beyond to get issues fixed that the previous management company refused to fix. The maintenance staff is the best. Bill is such a sweet heart and my dogs absolutely love him! He always brings treats. He has come to my apartment for a work order and ended up doing several additional things that he noticed that needed to be fixed. He made sure that I was happy with his service before he left. There is a new maintenance guy Brendon, he is extremely professional and very helpful. The groundskeeper Kenny has gone out of his way to help me. He does more then what is required of him for myself and all the other residents that need things done. The buildings are older buildings and there has been a few issues. The stairs are a never ending battle it seems. Every time one is fixed it seems another one breaks. I know that this is an issue at any apartment complex and the office is doing the best they can with what they have to get them addressed. My main complaint is the dog waste. I know that this is not the office’s fault as they provide doggie bags all of the complex and they can’t catch everyone that does not pick up after their pet. I have seen an outside company here cleaning up the pet waste, but it would be nice if that outside company could come more often to help keep up with the grounds. Overall I love my apartment and my neighbors. I feel safe here with my kids and know that if there is any problems the office will do what they can to resolve the issues. I would highly recommend living here. As this is my 3rd apartment this is by far the best place that I can call home!
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever, ever received. I wish we could break our lease and get out. We always pay on time, have never had any complaints, keep our patio clean, never have trash outside our door. We have always been polite to the staff, Nichole is the sweetest one there, Kim came around after a few visits to pick up our packages. The manager Denise is one of the rudest people I have ever met. When we first got our apartment, they didn't have the keys for our mailbox. My Boyfriend went in to get them after they left us 2 messages saying they were ready. After he went in they told him they had no knowledge of them and gave him 2 keys to try. I went back in the office to explain that I had spoken with a danielle and was told they would be at the front desk. I didn't want 2 keys not knowing which one was ours. The manager Denise was so rude and didn't want to listen to me, or help at all. The young man who used to work there was nice enough to follow us to make sure the keys were ours. My bank made a mistake and some rent did not go through, I was charged the late fees, and had by Tuesday had the remainder of the rent. There is no drop box, and the office does not open until 10 and closes at 6. I work in Denver and have to leave by 8 and don't get home until 6- 7. I emailed one of the ladies, not sure which one, may be Danielle and let her know I had the money order I would be by on the weekend as I can't make it during the week. She just said she would hold my account until Saturday and then they would turn it over to the attorneys. I was able to get off of work early on Thursday and barely made it to the office. I even added the extra 5 for Monday. A few weeks go by and I log on to pay our rent, I usually pay almost a week in advance, and there is a balance due. I email to ask why. They say it is due to the late fees. I send them an attachment of the amount that was given to me and reminded them not only did I already drop off the money order but I emailed to let them know hey there is no drop box how was I supposed to get them the money order. I had to call corporate as they did not address my emails or even attempt to resolve the matter. Even after corporate called, they still didn't resolve the matter. I called corporate at least 3 times before I received a phone call with a message left by the manager. Not even a day after this we had a letter on our door about leaving trash outside. We have never left trash outside our door. I have seen them pass by other apartments that have trash outside their door. The next day we have another letter stating they have found out we have a dog and we never leash him. We were looking into adopting a deaf dog, we had him over a few times, you can't just adopt a special needs animal, and the maintenance guy saw him. My boyfriend overheard them talking outside. We received a letter stating he was never on a leash. If you have ever owned a pet, a puppy can't be off a leash, especially if they have a special need. Why did she have to lie? About the dog and about the trash? I am sorry you can't provide at least decent customer service. We paid the dog deposit about 2 weeks ago, my boyfriend and our roommate have been in the office since we paid the deposit, my boyfriend talked to the manager Denise to get packages, which we always pick up each other's packages, and she told him he could not pick up any packages not in our name. It was a new rule. She lied about that as well, and did not have him sign anything. Our roommate went the same day and picked up the packages, some not in his name and they did not tell him anything either. They left me one voicemail on Friday April 8th, I spoke with our roommate he has only received one phone call on friday as well, they never called my boyfriend and they left a letter on our door today. I have already contacted corporate yet again. If I could break my lease and not have to worry about credit or the huge bill they give you I would, This is by far the absolute worst customer service I have ever received.
I will not be renewing my lease come next year. I wasn't able to get to the office at 9 am (people have to work) so when I got there after 5pm I was charged another $245 for attorney fees for an eviction when I had called and left them a meassge telling them I have the rent can't be there til after work. No one cared. Not to mention all the dog crap all over the complex, you walk outside and smell dog crap, every inch of the grass areas have huge amounts of dog crap.
Love the staff. Y matince lookin to renewal. My leasr again
