While they look nice with the colors and stately palms, these are only average apartments, not great construction and very thin walls. If you enjoy hearing your neighbors argue, kids screaming, or an occasional bone dance, you will like living there. If you are on the first floor like I was just pray you don’t have an insomniac neighbor that paces back and forth all night. They have some amenities like the French doors, very large porches, and high ceilings. The maintenance staff is first rate, the best you could ask for - they fix many issues the same day. And the staff is very courteous and responsive. The community does events for residents which is nice if you go. But, the place is expensive - if you can swing it they are nice and you weed out a lot of "riff-raff,” but at the same time, as I said, they are only average construction and the thin walls to me were an issue. Getting out of the complex in the morning can be a challenge as well and you have to allow extra time b/c the traffic on Dykes and Miramar Parkway stacks up – it’s horrendous between 7am – 9am. There is one central collection point for garbage (a compactor) and you have to haul your garbage to it on the way out. The noise from I-75 can be a nuisance; it depends which side of the community you live on. Stay away from the side facing the interstate. In the winter it would be nice to open windows at night to take advantage of temps, but the road noise there makes it impossible, even in the apartments farthest from the interstate. Make an appointment first before you move out and ask for a pre-move out inspection so if there are any issues you can resolve them with management.
