Overall, our experience renting at The Villages at South Station has been a good one. The office and maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful! They are willing to work with you, and are very personable. We have a second floor apartment, and love the vaulted ceilings. The carpet gets dirty very easily, the paint job is messy, the dryer timer doesn't work, and the cabinets are poorly constructed. However, this level of "nicety" is to be expected for the price. The apartment was a bit more expensive than others in the area, but then it was in a convenient location and gated. Basically, you get what you pay for. For what we paid, we are happy.
Do not rent this place. The managements are very unprofessional. I paid $1,245 deposit for this place when I came in to sign the lease the manager told me and my mom that she was going to a meeting and running late so she told us to sign the lease and take the keys and we'd talk tomorrow. I was involved in a vehicle accident a while back and requested a lower flower the manager assured me the unit was a lower floor. When me and my mom went to check the unit it was on the second floor, it was dirty and had a lots of things falling apart. By this time there was no one at the office I went back the following morning and told her that the condition that place was in she told me to wait until another one comes up. I told her I am not interested anymore she told me she can not accept the keys back unless i pay the penalty for breaking the lease that i had less then 24 hour ago. I went back couple more times up until the assistant manager took the keys from me. now I am in collection for breaking the lease for $1,869. What ever you do do not rent from property.
