Creepy stalker maintenance guy so watch out for him. I think his name was Mario. Comes off super friendly at first but constantly would check up on me and knocked on my door once because he saw some guy talking to me asking for a cigarette. He told the apartment I moved out because he noticed I was gone a lot. I lived on the second floor and there was once a huge flood that they never helped clean up even with my renter insurance. Hot tub was always luke warm. Sketchy neighbors. I lived there 2012 so maybe its better there now.
New to this complex. but so far so good. Melissa is great and fast response to get me in when I was looking etc. Will post after some time passes.
Manager never in office. never given proper notice on electrical or water shut off. laundry room is always trashed with broken machines no signs on the machines stating that they are broken. never recieved the new carpet i was promised or the stove fixed. been eating out for over a year because i have no stove
We have lived here since June, and we have regretted it since day one. The price seemed right, since it was a little lower and we have been trying to save some money, but let me tell you, the price is not right. It should be MUCH lower. Our air conditioner hasn't worked properly since we moved in. 90% of the time it blows HOT air, not even cool air. Our apartment is always at least 10 degrees hotter than it is outside, and we live in the first floor. The apartments are so cheap they refuse to buy and install new AC units saying it isn't in their budget. Our shower never has hot water, and there is no water pressure to speak of. At best, our shower is lukewarm. There is baseboard heating, and when we moved in there was/is about an inch thick of dirt and dust down there. They obviously do not maintain their heaters when residents move out. Our kitchen is always so hot it feels like the oven is always on. Our fridge freezes things. Our freezer puts a layer of frost/ice on everything also. At one point we even had maintenance come in and defrost everything. We were told the lines had frozen. Their "fix" worked for a little while. At least our fridge isn't leaking all over the kitchen floor now. Our windows are paper thin, and I certainly do not feel safe with them, locked or otherwise. Our screens were falling out of the windows when we got our keys, and it took them over a week just to come out and fix them. There is no fan in the bathroom. The closet doors are the cheap metal kind that slide and get stuck. We have had one door that we cannot close since we moved in because it was and still is jammed. Our utilities are THROUGH THE ROOF. These apartments are so old/cheap that they have not upgraded from a boiler to a water heater. They are not individually metered, so if you are in a building with people who leave their lights on all the time, use tons of water, etc., expect to get stuck paying their utilities too. They calculate utilities/water based on how many people are living in an apartment. There's only two of us. Our rent is $535. With utilities we pay $699.24. There is only ONE laundry facility for the entire complex. It is scalding hot since they have bolted the windows shut, always filthy, and there are maybe 12 washing machines/dryers in it. The pool was green, so it's obviously not being treated regularly. The maintenance team is spread so thin nothing ever gets done, and never on time. They never leave a work order. We don't have a single paper trail of any maintenance that has ever been done in our apartment. All of our outlets are so loose plugs slip right out of them. We mentioned this at move in and were told there's nothing they can do about that without re-wiring everything. There are unattended kids running around all the time, screaming at the top of their lungs. People flick their cigarette butts on our door step, leave their dog poop everywhere, and randomly throw other people's things out of their apartments where it stays for days. Cars are always being worked on in the parking lot. Now we have ROACHES in our apartment. I have no idea where they came from, but this is Colorado, where we have ant problems at best, not cockroaches. They are obviously unsanitary if they are attracting cockroaches in Colorado. They are Eviction happy. A former review sounds really familiar. They attempted to evict us the week after we moved in, without so much as any actual attempt at communication with us over something that wasn't an error on our part. They hire their leasing agent from a temp agency, and no one in that office communicates. And, the property manager IS RUDE. In fact, even her staff refer to her as "Curt", which is a polite way of calling her something worse - and the shoe fits. She never apologized for their mistake with us either, like the former reviewer said. The best thing these apartments have going for them is Kim, the new Business Manager, but she's only one person and can't fix everything.
Trying to keep an older apartment complex still going is hard work.
