Staff is always super nice in the office and always helpful with any issues. Great at calling me if I have a package in the office. Even a few people know me by name which is always nice because I feel like they actually care about helping with any needs I have. The only thing im concerned with is this summer and the pool situation, can often get over crowded and I know not all the people are residents.
The location is awesome! The office staff are the coolest people you'll ever meet! I love the events they have for their residents. Only thing I dislike is the payment system. They use the ancient art of check writing or $ orders. I'd prefer they use an online payments system. i also dislike the maintenance request system. You have to call a 100 number to have anything fix. most of the time they are very fast but I just don't understand why I can't just speak directly to someone on the property.
The staff at the Retreat is great--welcoming, helpful, and they remember you. I also appreciate the fact that the complex is animal friendly and makes sure even pets feel like part of the community. The complex is quiet, my neighbors are friendly, and the location is fantastic--adjacent to the Barton Creek greenbelt, right on Lamar, close to 71, 360, and Mo-Pac. It's a 10 minute walk to grocery stores (the new Wheatsville Co-op and Sprouts) too. There are two pools which is great during the hot Texas summers! There is a waste valet service, although I would prefer to save the cost of this and take my own trash out, you are unable to opt out. The apartments are a good size, although the bathrooms are a little small. And sometimes parking can be a little crowded, but usually it's not a problem.
Love living here! Staff is very helpful. I wish the leasing office was open later so that I could pick up my packages after 6, but other than that it's great. Beautiful trees, beautiful pools, and incredible access to the things in Austin I love most. I am literally within walking distance of my pilates studio, Sprouts, and Starbucks. The rent is a little pricey, but worth it for the location in Austin and how much square footage you get in your apartment. I especially love that I have a dishwasher, washer AND dryer in my apartment. Would definitely recommend to a friend and I look forward to living here for many years to come :)
I love that you guys do extra fun stuff like this! The staff is also really friendly. My biggest complaint is the bugs, though! We live on the first floor and the bugs are worse than any other place I've ever lived.
