To the prior commenter: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with your current living arrangements at Salem View Apartments. Our goal is to provide great service every time so we appreciate any feedback from our families as it helps us identify areas we can improve. In response to your online complaint, we did some research in an effort to locate any prior maintenance requests resembling your complaints. Thus far we have not been able to find any record of similar maintenance requests nor have we been able to identify any resident by your on-line name. Because we cannot determine who you are, we request that you please contact us immediately so that we can have our maintenance staff repair or correct the items you have mentioned. Apparently, there is also some confusion with respect to removing mail from residents's mailboxes. It is our policy that we do not touch residents mail unless they have moved and have not left a forwarding address. In that case, the mailbox will fill up and the new resident of that apartment will not be able to use the box. If that happens, we will remove the prior resident's mail and keep it for them and try, if possible, to contact them by phone so that they can pick up their mail or return it to the sender. The mail is never opened. Once again, we are very sorry that you are unhappy with the service you are receiving and hope that you will come by the office so that we can address your concerns. I lived here for a year. Rent was good for a 2 bedroom apt. Parking was usually easy to get a spot in front of your building. The landlord, Angela, is great! When ever I had an issue she took care of it promptly. She was very easy to work with and explained the lease and terms well. I would definitely rent from her again!
