I have really enjoyed living in my apartment here. The location was perfect- a 1 minute drive to the grocery, I could walk across the road to get to Thomas Cloud park, and it is only 15 minutes from the mall. The pool was great in the summer, the maintenance staff was always very kind and prompt when an issue arose, and the office personnel were always friendly and greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. There are little doggy stands with baggies provided to keep the complex free and clear of poo, which I thought was a great idea. I love how peaceful it was living here and I always felt safe. I would highly recommend Cloud Park Apartments to anyone looking for a new place to call home :)
this place isn't worth the money. You can rent a house for the price of these apartments and there is nothing "luxurious" about them. "security" cameras don't even work. On top of all that non sense I'm constantly harassed out front on the corner next to Krogers from drug addicts trying to get money. Being on the border of Dayton/Huber/Riverside no thanks. Go pay another $150 a month and get a nice place in Beavercreek. They walk on the property at night, and I've had tools stolen out of the back of my truck and the Managers acted like they didn't care. Mantinence always acts like there's nothing wrong when you put in a work order and they shoot the geese on the pond It's actually ILLEGAL.
First off, the management is extremely rude, always and for no reason. They are "welcoming" up until signing your lease. Once you reside here they treat you as bothersome. The maintenance employees are also exceptionally rude. When something isn't right in the apartment they act annoyed to actually have to do their job and treat you in a condescending manner. They also shoot at the wildlife that the pond attracts. Here's a tip, don't put a pond in the middle of your apartment community if you're going to harm the animals it naturally attracts? This is the furthest place from a "community." It's hard to even call it "home." We also had pages of problems when we first moved in to the apartment. I wouldn't suggest living here to anyone.
I'm sure some people have bad experiences from time to time, but I honestly don't see what some people have been complaining about, especially about management staff. Mindy, Jillyn and Sarah in the office have ALWAYS been very polite and personable with my wife and I but still remain business professional at the same time. Perfect balance of everything if you ask me. The two maintenance guys have always been very willing to help in the very few times I've needed them. Any problems I've ever reported they've almost always taken care of same day within the hour and in only a select couple times did they need to come back later in the day or first thing in the next morning! The apartments are nice, they just completely repainted the exteriors of all the buildings, the pond view and fountains are amazing. In regards to one posters talk saying they shoot at the animals, you probably should do research and ask before making such a claim. The things they were "shooting" at "the animals" is actually an approved method using something like one of those screaming bottle rocket fireworks but it's actually designed specifically for geese deterrence and is approved by the Ohio Wildlife foundation. A lot of the geese are carriers of deadly diseases to other animals. They had brought in a white Swan a few months ago much like the family of them they used to have here years ago, but because of the diseases the geese carry, the swans and other wildlife have died as a result. The firework like thing they shoot off is a sound only deterrent and only is meant to humanely scare them off property and attempt to keep them from returning. So if anything they are trying to help save wildlife. Please don't take what the one poster said as a true fact as she was seriously wrong in how she stated that comment! We just recently signed another lease agreement and even upgraded to a two bedroom! The location is perfect, right next door to a 24 hour Kroger, the very large Cloud Park across the street where they also have the yearly July 4th fireworks show at (where all you have to do is just step out either your back porch or front door) and you have the PERFECT view, without having to leave home! There is also numerous other events throughout the year! Within minutes of just about anything else you would need or want!
management can be rude. maintenance workers act like we are lucky to be staying there when asked about anything.living there isn't bad but residents and the employees are very unpleasant. not a very welcoming community. the Kroger's right next to the apartments attract Dayton residents. not the good kind either. you have to worry about your vehicles and also your bedroom window faces the parking lot. so if your on the bottom floor you have to constantly leave your blinds shut unless you want someone seeing you sleep. like I said not an awful place to live, every apartment complex has their issues . I just personally did not enjoy my stay here. very happy with buying my own home and not having to deal with these people anymore.
