I have enjoyed my stay here, so much so I renewed my lease for another year. I have had some troubles with management but they were all handled professionally and to my satisfaction. If you need an apartment, go see Kayla, she is very knowledgeable and will take care of you. Overall, my stay here has been very pleasant and I am looking forward to another great year.
I lived here for a year. The apartment and amenities are very nice, but I had several maintenance issues that never got fixed. I sent in probably 10 different service requests because my apartment smelled like an actual sewer and till the day I moved out it was still smelling like that. I don't think they can call themselves a luxury apartment and charge what they do for the service they give. Again the apartment is beautiful, but you can find somewhere better for the price.
I was literally about to call today and setup a tour of this property in the possibility of leasing, but after reading these reviews, I think I will have to pass. I hope UDR and other properties realize that the majority of us primarily base online reviewing systems on our decision making process to make a move or not. This is one of the SINGLE most important resources we have as residents to find a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment when deciding to make a move to a different area. If I was ownership/management, I would take all of these things very seriously and immediately start to tackle these issues the day they were made known to you. It is a sad thing too, because this property has the capability to be one of the coolest and trendiest in the area. Vitruvian Park is such a cool spot. Customer Service I have found is something people in this industry take very lightly, and it should be the other way around.
i lived here for 1.5 years and i loved it there. didnt really have any complains. the few service issues i had were taken care of quickly.
I would like to give my 2 cents on Savoye and Savoye 2. I'm going to be very objective with most of my review and leave a final personal comment in the end. Hope this helps. The Good Parts... 1. Nice amenities if you use them 2. Pool areas are nice 3. Vitruvian park. 4. Maintenance seem to be responsive and courteous 5. In the tower good sound dampening between neighbors, except the main door because they are hollow type and you will hear everything produced in the hall way. The Bad Parts... 1. The lease staff, not all of them, but the ones that found it more important to finish up their text msg or FB update before acknowledging your presence in the room. What if i was a new customer? 2. Package deliveries, not necessarily a staff problem, but a system that seems cluttered and overwhelming for managing two building (Savoye and Savoye 2). For example, if you have an overnight delivery (which someone paid top dollar to be in your hands before 10:30a) it can be a challenge to receive it. It has to be checked-in which doesn't happen until the afternoon and can be problematic. If you personally pick up your package by using the tracking via the carrier, its a mad house trying to find it. (one person eventually helped with my problem, but in the beginning became a real problem). My suggestion is have separate system for overnight deliveries. 3. If you live in the Tower near the corridor, be prepare for noise from dumpsters, constant trash smell, noising neighbors revving their new white sports car late at night. 4. The Elevators - In beginning all was good. The floor speech indicators where working, clean and sometimes fast Today, the floor-to-floor speech indicators rarely work [or tell the correct floor], elevator have a musty smelling odor, especially after a weekend, and don't work most of the time. Sometimes one will stay inoperable for weeks. It's just 9 floors! 5. Recently, notice trash smell leaving the air duct on the main floor in Savoye 2. Imagine coming home from a hard day at work, waiting 3 to 5 mins for one elevator and literally smelling a dump. Personally, I feel managing Savoye and Savoye 2 by one office leaves room for neglect which I was seeing. In addition, there seemed to be difficulty of understanding we are still the customer even after we sign. And as a customer we have a choice. We can stay or leave. I decided to leave. And took everything I learned and made sure it didn't exist at my new place. If you just want a place to sleep and some amenities Savoye/Savoye2 will be good fit. However, if you want a place to call home...consider buying one. Hope this helps.
