I love it here! Great staff! The landscaping is always done, the buildings are kept up and the make over in progress looks awesome. I am proud to live here!!
I must say I was sold a dream here. It was quiet and peaceful when I came to initially view the apartment but after moving in my tolerance for this place quickly became shortened. There are so many dogs here it seems as if owning one is a requirement to move in. People let there dogs piss and poo all over the place and they don't use the bags provided by the complex. I must say I don't like being awakened at 3am to the sounds of the neighbors whining dog. The walls are ridiculously thin. I can hear every time my neighbor closes a door or cabinet. The staff is friendly though. Julianne and Emily are wonderful ladies and will make you feel very welcomed. I must say that the other office staff aren't so pleasant at times and can be very short. Apartments are a bit small and there is limited closet space. The trash compactor is always broken so people tend to leave their trash bags piled on the sidewalk, which is completely unsightly. Also, there seems to be a lot of younger (college aged) tenants that cause majority of the noise here. Every night the tenants across the way have a party on their 3rd floor balcony. This becomes extremely annoying as I assume most of the tenants have jobs to get to in the morning. It would not be so bad if some of the tenants had consideration for those around them. I loved the fountain near the apartment and liked to open the balcony doors to listen to the water and feel the breeze but always. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy my balcony at all due to the smoke from bot my 1st and 2nd neighbors. I have never smoked in life and the smell makes me physically sick. It seems as if they take turns smoking all day so I am rarely able to open the doors to the balcony. The complex is apartment grounds are always maintained but unfortunately it does not make up for the downfalls, for me.
I have lived here for nearly three years and I cannot say enough good things. Great office staff, great maintenance staff, and great neighbors. I am relocating out of state due to a promotion, and I will truly miss our home.
I have lived in this apartment community for approximately 5 years. Obviously I have enjoyed my time here or I wouldn't have renewed my lease. It is a nice, quiet community with friendly residents. That management staff is top notch and it is obvious that they are highly trained and experienced. They all go out of their way to help you out should an issue arise and everything that you request is completed in a timely manner. The best part about the management staff is that they are friendly and they always make you feel comfortable when you come to visit them. My surrounding residents are quality, respectful, and classy people. I never have an issue with any type of disturbances. The crime rate is extremely low and I've never had an issue to deal with. I recommend this community for people that want to feel like where they live is not just a house but a home.
The apartment complex is clean, neat and orderly. The maintenance crew that assists each individual apartment 's needs are fast, courteous and they all do a great job. The office staff is also very helpful and is quick to resolve any maintenance situation that arises. Overall the apartments are very nice, spacious and the grounds surrounding the apartments are very well kept. Very pretty landscape and scenery. The pool is a nice plus and is a great place to kick back and relax. So far so good, most of the people you meet are very friendly. Overall a great experience! A+ for Palmetto Pointe Apts; The apartments and landscape, office staff and maintenance staff make it a very nice place to live. Plus its Myrtle Beach, very close to the beach, dining and shopping. The only concern is a few unruly neighbors that have although infrequently have disturbed others by their sophomoric, noisy behavior. If the apartment staff can deal with these few bad apples expeditiously then it would be better for all that live here. Again great experience overall and won't let a few bad apples ruin it for all that seek a peaceful co-existence.
