Bell Murfreesboro is a place very few would want to call home, but before I go into the why, I will say the positive things that might draw you into wanting to rent here. The place looks awesome! It’s true. – I use to dig the new colors and while it is a refreshing change, it is not for everyone. I imagine luxury being something with bright colors and something that makes you smile more. You may be able to find a picture of what this place once looked like before the paint job. But do keep in mind that we all have different taste, which is great! They allow animals! – If you’re an animal lover, you will be very excited to know you can have them here, but it does come at a price. Should you wish to bring a furry friend or two, you should expect to pay $15/Month per pet, plus a pet deposit per pet you have. Having a bird(s) also counts as one pet that carries a pet deposit and pet rent as if you had a dog or cat. The ducks! I know, who doesn’t love ducks?! With the pond welcoming you into the community, it is hard to miss the mass amount of ducks we have here. They have been here for a while and very much are welcomed. Many people here love to feed them bread and duck seed. I would also add, it makes a great family gathering when you just want to stay here and relax some. With the few things I have mentioned above, you’re sure to be smiling when you come to visit Bell Murfreesboro, but do not let all the fancy, cute and exciting things grab your hand for a signature of the lease just yet. Fees. Yes, what place does not have them? But when you have to pay so many fees like Trash at $7 to $10/Month and Pest control at $5/Month and pet rent at $15 per pet a month, you start to feel like you’re being nickeled and dimed to death. Look, luxury living does have its cost, but this place is far from true luxury. The grounds. Something I feel we all share the love of nature. Who does not love a clean yard or a beautiful view? Sure, not every apartment can offer such a thing, but what makes living in a place great is the scenery you have around you. Bell Murfreesboro does not take care of their grounds the way they should. The grounds use to be beautiful, well maintained and overall just awesome. It made you feel like you lived in luxury, now you just see missing lids to ground wires that work the irrigation system or holes in the ground from were signs use to stand to dog waste all over the place to trash bags outside apartments that sit for months on end and more. It is rather sad to see. The inside. Look, we all have our thoughts on what we feel is a great fit for us and that is great. The inside is not bad, they’re very beautiful inside, but they lack storage and the kitchen is so small, really, small. If you love to cook a lot, the kitchen will make you cry and cringe at the same time. However, the appliances are rather nice. You get a flat stove top, dishwasher, and washer and dryer in your unit, though I think someone said some units do not come with them, but I am not for sure. The Bell Murfreesboro staff are not horrible monsters and they’re far from perfect human beings. The thing that bothers me with the office staff is the lack of working with you when you want to renewal your lease. I really do not feel they work with you on the fees nor the rent amount at all, they use to, but they no longer seem to do that. Maintenance staff, not bad, really. The only thing I dislike is that I feel like they’re so disconnected from the people who live here. They seem to be in their own world and very little attention is really given when you see them outside. Overall I would not recommend living here or at any Bell Partners Inc ran property as I feel they’re not here to serve you, but to serve the wallet. The staff are not bad, but could use an upgrade and the corporate office for Bell Murfreesboro is of another universe. This place is not a bad place to live, but you may want to look at other options when renting an apartment. Calling a place home should feel like home.
I moved in here over 3 years ago. When I first saw the price on some of their apartments I was turned away. UNTIL I met some of the community staff. Emily was absolutely amazing. She gave us a great tour and helped us pick out our first apartment which was 1 bedroom. When we became expecting she worked with us on everything, got us into a 2 bedroom and because they had a waiting list for 1bdrms even gave us 200$ off our first months rent! Truely amazing experience. She left for reasons I now see. This place is an absolute joke. The "management" is the LEAST helpful and down right rudest ive ever dealt with. In TWO apartments now ive gotten SEWAGE backup coming out of my tub and kitchen sink/dish washer. Absolutely disgusting. Think they would send someone to clean out the dishwasher? NOPE. Not to mention the parking is atrocious. No real assigned parking spaces. You will find yourself parking 3 apartments down on a daily basis. absolutely had it with this place and will be moving out at the end of my lease. There are more beautiful apartments for less in the same area of Blackman. Honestly stay away.
We moved here in April and have had nothing but pest problems since. At one point I was having pest control out to my unit every other week. They don't treat the problem they just spot spray your unit. You walk around the grounds and you see ant hills EVERYWHERE. I can't step out of my car with out getting an ant on my foot. At one point the pest company told me it was my fault I had ants because of my cats food being out. On top of the pest problem, there's no assigned parking and if you get back to the apartments after 6 or 7 good luck to you on finding a spot that's even in the same aisle your apartment is. If you live on a bottom unit you can hear everything going on in the unit above yours down to their cell phones vibrating. Besides all of that, the actual Bell Murfreesboro staff is very nice, maintenance responds quickly, and the apartments are in a great location which is why they got a 2 star rating.
Horrible Staff!!!! Before the property was acquired by Bell I always had great experiences. After being acquired by Bell the staff was rude, unprofessional, and uninformed-to say the least. Being a former lease agent myself, I understand what it can be like to float between properties. However, the temp staff at Bell could NEVER help me OR answer my questions. The staff was inconsistent at best. I had decided to renew my lease with Aldridge, but once Bell took over-I counted down the days until my lease ended.
I have had a good experience with the new staff at Bell M'boro, it seems they have gotten rid of all the temp employees and brought in new full time staff, two of them managers. They are friendly and helpful with my issues. I am glad to see that are starting to have resident events at the Club House on a regular basis now. Also, the new maintenance crew is much better, they are prompt to come to your unit and fix your place once you fill out a request through the online system.
