No apartment complex is perfect, but my wife and I liked Camden Manor until we moved out. That's when they slapped us with an unexpected bill for a half-grand and said we had no choice but to fork out. The bill centered around our apartment's paint. When we gave our move-out notice, the leasing office worker said he'd send someone over to estimate the cost of painting our apartment back to a neutral color. That never happened, so we moved out thinking we were OK -- or that the leasing office thought it wouldn't cost us enough to do an estimate first. Then we get a bill for $500 in painting fees. We talked to the leasing office. They said we never came to talk about a painting estimate and told us to pay up. We told them we felt like we were being taken. They told us to quit whining and cough it up. I had a good time at this complex but now I can only recommend it if you go in with open eyes.
I've lived here for about a year, and I LOVE my apartment. The layout of the bigger 2-bedroom floorplan is so open and spacey. I'll admit that the kitchen looks a little outdated, but everything works well. In addition, the staff are great and reply to everything with incredible speed. One other great thing is how pet-friendly this apartment is. It's one of the only apartments in the area that doesn't charge pet rent (only a fee), plus it's right next to a jogging trail, has lots of green space, and there are dog-poop-bag stations all over the grounds. True, this place is a little pricey and it's far from my job in RTP, but I absolutely love living here.
I moved to Camden Manor Park Apartments April of last year. I can honestly say I love living here! My wife and I love the area. We are close to downtown and we also have the privilege of having a beautiful greenway which connects to the Crabtree Valley Mall. The staff has been very professional and responsive towards our needs, especially the maintenance staff. The maintenance staff has responded to our requests in less than 24 hours whenever we had any issues. Additionally, we have social events every month which sometimes include food and entertainment. One of my favorite social activities here at Camden is Poker Night; Marcus makes it a lot of fun for everyone involved. We would highly recommend Camden Manor to anyone searching for a new apartment.
The slightly larger 2 bedroom apartment is larger and has cool character. The balconies are larger than upscale balconies located in North Hills and the rent is apporopriate. The few times something has broken, the maintenance staff are there to fix it soon after reporting it. The leasing staff is also friendly and they host events almost every month. There are additional costs peppered in like valet trash that is not optional; but I don't mind that on cold days. The pools and grills worked well all summer long. The one slightly negative comment I have is the renters. A small portion of renters are college age; some younger students invite other students over that don't have the respect for the other tennants. Unless you like that type of scene, ask if the office has an apt. in a more professional building. Friendly leasing staff will accomodate you, if there is availability. Apartments rent fast here due to location!
I have lived here for approx. 6 months, The price can be a little intimidating, you have to factor in all the amentities. I am a bachelor, I think it's awesome that they have valet trash as well as 30 meg internet for $20 a month as I am an avid gamer, streamer netflixer! Gym is much better than others I have been too. If you catch a garage at the right time you will find that they are extremely inexpensive. Staff has been great thus far. Also something I hear no one speak of is fishing. You can walk to your backyard and catch and release 10lb+ catfish all day long! I am scared about one thing, how much will my rent go up when it comes time to renew? Definitely an awesome place recommend to all- Thanks Anthony
