I had lived here for 6 years. The management is terrible. You can never speak to a manager (even if you leave your phone number and message with the staff in person), your requests to fix things go ignored most times. If something critical needs to be fixed like my AC fan during the 100 degree+ days in summer it took them 4 days to swap out a fan motor that took less than 20 min and they had the fan the whole time, the maintenance guy just didnt want to come in after hours on a weekend. In the winter nothing is done to the sidewalks, stairs or parking lots to clear snow or ice or put any sand or ice melt down. The parking lot and walkways become an ice rink. The management the first 2 years tried to at least clean up snow and ice but not for the last 4 years. You can expect your rent and water charge to go up every time you renew your lease by 7- 10% They say they will clean your carpets each time you renew your lease but that is not true. They will give you the apartment in filthy condition or however the last person left it. I had to have them vacuum mine before i moved in and unloaded my trailer where my vacuum was packed. They then cleaned the carpets and i stacked my stuff outside all night waiting for them to dry and they were supposed to have cleaned the carpet several days before i was going to move in. My friends who made the mistake of living here had the same experiences as I did. When you turn the apartment back to them dont expect your deposit but expect a bill. This happened to a lot of people i knew who lived here even though the apartment was turned back to them in better/cleaner condition. The entire time i lived here everyone complained about the rent prices being raised constantly and the terrible maintenance never fixing things or clearing the snow/ice in winter. The same company/management also runs the Invitational apartments just to the east of the Augusta so expect the same thing over there. I would not recommend these apartments under any conditions!
Horribly overpriced. The complex has so much potential. It has cute floorplans, a great landscape, and good neighbors, but it is mismanaged, poorly taken care of, and aging fast. I hate that I can not recommend the place. For a lower price I would call it a wonderful bargain, but for what you're paying, it really should be so much better. It's sister property the Invitational is a much better property with nicer staff.
This place has been the BIGGEST nightmare! Never fixed anything, I had to hire someone to come fix my front door as it fell off the hinges and they were not going to fix it until the following day, did I mention that I couldn't shut nor open my door anymore-it was stuck halfway open. The latest- almost a year after I move out I get a call from collections advising that they sent me to collections over a bill that was paid 8 months ago - had receipts and proof that it cleared the bank HOWEVER they refuse to respond to the collection agency to get this cleared up. You couldn't pay me to even glance at this place again! Overpriced, poor management, and they don't take care of anything. Turn away while you still can!
The management of these apartments has tried to screw me over multiple times but failed in doing so. A/C units are garbage, then they will tell you that they are working. Also, it costs an amazingly amount of money to even run the A/C. There are nicer apartments out there than these ones. They are just not worth the price or the headache that may occur from the problems you might have here. Save yourself some money and go somewhere else.
Lots of bugs , spiders and frogs on doorways especially those who live on ground floors. You open your patio doors you welcome tons of bugs.Outside ac units makes lots of noise. If you turn on fan whole apartment unit vibrates. Managment will offer you 50 dollars off if you renew lease, if you do not they will never return you security deposit...Horrible managment.
