I was a resident here for one year, and finally moved out last month. Noise did not really factor in for me. In fact, I barely heard any noise at all. What turned me off was how poor they were with ensuring maintenance was done. I've reported a leak in my restroom a couple months after I moved in, and that the floor boards around the toilet was soggy and sinking. I was told a few times that a work order would be submitted, but it never got fixed. I also reported leaks on several areas on the ceiling. They actually took a gander at it once when I said it was getting worse and that you can see the wet marks. A couple weeks before I moved out, it finally started physically dripping water in the living room next to my TV. Numerous times throughout the year I was told they would have someone fix the roof, however I failed to see any progress in their promise. Certain area would get very moldy too. I kept my apartment very clean, actually cleaner than how it was turned over to me. At the end, I felt I was ripped off by management. (First of all, the current manager has poor listening skills and seems manipulative.) I was told that I was required to steam clean the carpets "professionally" before I move out. I don't recall seeing anything on my contract stating that, and I pointed out that according to my inspection sheet the former manager signed off with me annotates multiple stains on the carpet, etc. I don't understand why I need to pay for it to be professionally cleaned, if it was not professionally cleaned when it was turned over to me. Then he suggested if I pay the company they're contracted with that it would be a little bit pricey, but then offered HIS services for $25. Yes, the manager would "professionally" clean the carpets for $25. And yes, I ended up paying because I wanted to just get out of there. When I asked for assistance installing curtains, I was told they don't normally do that and that I could just perhaps feed them sometime when I cook my Asian food. Really? I would not recommend these apartments until they improve on better management and maintenance. You can definitely find a more decent place with similar or same rates they have.
This is the worst place that I ever lived in. They did not keep up with the apartments very well, at all. They were very rude and disrepectful, especially to women, and they find ways to rip you off and take your money. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!
I've enjoyed living here. The staff has been very professional and made a point of asking is there any thing I need. However they were working for owners that did not seem to care about fixing the roofs and parking lot. Overall, it's a quite safe place to live.
