I lived in Lynn Hill for several years and with a few exceptions I had a peaceful overall experience. The hardwood flooring, in the apartments, are simply beautiful. I loved my walk in closet. I only moved out because it was time to move on to the next step in my life. Other than that I would probably still be there. Reading the other reviews, for this location, I'm wondering if we ever lived at the same place.
I'll start of by saying, I can't wait for my lease to end. The apartment itself is okay definitely not great. My cons are the neighbors are extremely LOUD and when ever your neighbor slams the door you will hear it because it basically shakes the whole wall. My one neighbor likes to slam her door all day and night and yes this includes 2 AM. I can hear exactly what my neighbors are watching on tv, when they are taking a shower, and when they are having sex. I went to visit a fellow neighbor and you can hear every step that someone is taking above you. So I would recommend top floor, but you will pay more depending on what floor you choose. WATER is free but they like to turn it off like once a month or once every two months for a good 6 hours for "repairs". Also PARKING is terrible after 5:30 and you will find a lot of dings on your car that were never there before, thanks to the neighbors. Also the KIDS in the neighbor hood like to play around your cars, so the scratches don't surprise me. The Lynn hill staff has reported they can't do anything about someone hitting your car and scratching it and that parking is first come first serve, as for the noise complaints I have yet to see them do anything about that. My apartment seems to have a lot of stink bugs but no mice. My two other neighbors have seen mice and cockroaches. Also kids like to play on the road where you have to drive and leave their bikes all over the sidewalks. Since I've been here I've had MULTIPLE REPAIRS, my sink in the bathroom leaked, my tub is peeling white paint, my stove had to be replaced, my ac keeps leaking water and which caused a leak to my downstairs neighbor, had to change two non working outlets, the laundry room still has a broken dryer which was one of the complaints from a month ago. Lets talk about the INTERNET, when I first moved in it wasn't as bad, now that I have more and more neighbors my internet keeps coming in and out, I called Comcast and they have told me that it's not on their end and when they came to check it out they found out that wires are being crossed in order to support everyone's internet use in the building. The only Pros I have about this apartment is the location and the layout of the apartment, but that isn't worth it with all the cons. I rather live an hour away from work than live here. I wouldn't recommend this apartment definitely not renewing my lease.
Great location, quiet clean convenient to the beltway that surrounds the city,.
We have lived in these apartments for over two years, I had read these reviews and have to say none of this is true for my building... we have no roaches nor bed bugs, we get a field mouse once in a blue moon during the winter months. They are lackadaisical on repairing minor issue, but anything with gas, water or electric issue that we have expereinced has be dealt with with in hours no more then 48hrs. If you are late on your rent, YES they will send a notice for you to appear in court(this is stated in your lease)d but you have to have three in AAC in order to get evicted.(as long as you are paying rent). They are a bit pricey, but it keeps the wrong kind of people out of here. So, I can't speak for the other people who have made comments but we love our place
