Included in the rent:
Wifi, power, gas, trash pickup, sewer, and 2-3 loads of laundry a week for an additional $40. If you require a cleaning service I can provide leads.
A vacuum cleaner is provided and an ironing board. I'll share my iron :)
This historic Mission apartment is fully furnished down to the vintage silverware.
Six Rooms: Living Room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen (16x10'), Dressing room (12x10), and an 10x8" room.
Built in 1913 the apartment features the original built-in cabinetry, wood colonnades, crown molding, coffer ceiling, period style ceiling fans, window seat, & wall to wall carpeting. It has been furnished with a new sofa, new full size bed frame, memory foam mattress, bedspread, pillows, smart TV (you provide a Fire Stick), microwave, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, and area rugs.
Two sets of sheets are provided: cotton for summer, flannel for cold weather sleeping. It has 2 sets of terry cloth towels.
Cooking pots, pans, vintage dishes, coffee cups, drinking glasses are all provided.
The apartment has two balconies that overlook the street at front and the owners gardens in the back.
They are furnished with tables, chairs, wind chimes, a spinner, and if you can find the time to water them I will provide potted plants and herbs for short term tenants. I share my summer veggie garden and you are welcome to admire the Iris display during May.
You provide groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
It is furnished in Mid Century Style with vintage pieces from the owners collection, handmade pottery, original art on the walls: paintings, photos, an original Tip Freeman airbrush from the 40s, mono prints, and watercolors. Also: handmade quilts, hand blown glass, hand crafted pottery, sculpture, a Formica kitchen table from the 50s, vintage cafe curtains in the kitchen and vintage barkcloth curtains in the bedroom.
It is a living gallery of inspiration.
If you are a cyclist you may not need a car. This location is convenient to public transit, and it is easy to take transit, walk or bike to most of the city from here. The neighborhood, known as Tower Grove South, is full of intact historic architecture, shops and excellent restaurants. This apartment is two blocks from historic Tower Grove Park with its gorgeous collection of trees, running paths, and a bird sanctuary. A bike shop is 2 blocks.
The location can't be beat!

This is a fully furnished apartment except for a dishwasher and a garbage disposal.
A dry cleaner is located within 6 blocks. An ironing board is provided, you supply the iron or share mine.
