Slumlords and unsanitary living conditions. I am a medical professional who rented for a year. Sid (the Indian manager who wears blue contacts) will attempt to swindle every dollar he can out of his tenants while patronizing and demoralizing them. I've witnessed him cuss tenants, yell and harrass at the CWE location. Plumbing backs up causing stagnant water and bug problems. Poor pest control, they seem to seep from the walls and basement. Stay away from this company.
I've been living with the company for almost a year now and it's been nothing but a pain in the ass. Sid is a money hungry business man who is only looking out for himself, not the interest and well being of his tenants. The maintenance crew is sloppy and slow. They enter your apartment every other week for the same inspections. Also the elevator has been broken in my building for a week every month since I moved in. Asprient Properties are definitely the slum lords of the CWE. STEER CLEAR!!
I love living in an Asprient owned property (The Central Park). They offer great units with stylish and modern appliances, they are continually upgrading their properties to best serve the needs of their tenants. Maintenance responds quickly to resolve whatever issue you may encounter. Also, they are pet friendly which is a huge plus! You can't go wrong by choosing any Asprient property! Maintenance
Worst experience. A few people were helpful, but I would rate it 0/5 anyday for the responses they give during a crisis. I stayed in Pershing, and the flat didn't have working air conditioning. The flat used to smell bad, but I adjusted. There were many issues, but were swiftly resolved, usually within 2-3 days. I would rate it 3. I paid for 4 months even though I stayed for 3 months and 10 days. But after I left my flat, I lost my WiFi equipment that was left over in the flat and was to be picked up by the WiFi company. I requested Asprient several times to track down the equipment, but they never did. And moreover, I got some harsh replies and they stopped replying now. On an overall note, I would strongly request people to stay away from this place. You will find much better apartments in Clayton for a few extra bucks, rather than losing your self respect by staying here.
I moved to St. Louis for a job. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to live for the next six months. After doing some research, we landed on a property owned by Asprient. Everything was going smoothly until they informed us that we could not move into the apartment anymore. Apparently they didn't know the person living in that apartment had already renewed their lease. Since we already signed the lease and gave them a security deposit, we asked if there were any other options. The good news was there were. The bad news was they were more expensive. Since we were moving in two weeks and we were desperate, we agreed on one of there options. When we arrived, it was to our surprise that a lot of what they promised was not even there. No fountain, no patio furniture, no game room, and no BBQ pit. We were also told that we would be in the 3rd floor which was renovated with all new appliances. Most of that was true. They failed to mention, however, that our door was not insulated, our garbage disposal was broken, and that we wouldn't be getting a new washer and dryer. The one we had would sometimes take 2 dryer cycles to dry our clothes. A few months into the lease, I also noticed we didn't have a dryer duct to vent all the hot air out of our apartment. I didn't come to realize this until we had a bird building its nest above where the duct should go. Spring came and by then we were looking for new apartments. We contemplated staying at the place we were at. Then I realized I don't think I can handle hearing trucks backing up behind the apartment at 3 in the morning, being surrounded by construction, or have to pay $100 more for rent per month (which they said will happen) anymore. Maybe they made some changes to this apartment complex since we moved out. All I know is I will never rent from these cheap swindlers again. Oh yeah and if you do decide to go with them, don't expect to get your security deposit back.
