Though I am not a tenant, I be cautious before proceeding with this property. My company has been requested twice in 2.5 years to provide move out cleaning services for this (and other Elon owned properties). The most recent was in March of 2012 when we were asked to provide services again and told by the "new manager" of another property (regional manager) who said that we would be paid within 30 days. This is now July and i have been in contact with the Corporate office, tried calling the property manager and left numerous voice mails that have not been responded too, sent invoices that have gone unanswered. The district manager did call and say that the invoices were never submitted for payment (this was in May). So I emailed her on June 6th the invoices for the units we cleaned. She said it would take a week. Sent her another email last week with no response. Contacted Corporate again yesterday. Was told to contact the "payables accountant". Left a message yesterday and today. No response. Called Corporate again today and explained my frustration to the "receptionist" letting her know that I will be contacting the BBB. She told me that the "controller" will be calling me shortly to discuss the situation. That was 2 hours ago. If you are a tenant I am sure that the manager will responding quicker than they are to their vendors. However, without the vendors they can't sell you a contract. Buyer beware! If they aren't responding to their vendors, how does that make you feel
Old, dumpy and the leasing office people have a combined IQ of 3. Moving in and out was a pain and 3 years later they are still harassing me about a bill that has already been paid. How many time so I need to send my bank account info showing proof! Learn how to do your accounts! I would not recommend living here. I work for a property management company and I would be embarrassed if this was one of my properties.
