Of all the places I lived while attending A&M this place has been decent. Grounds always kept clean, fresh, and up to date. Maintenance responds within 24 hours, but only does patch work..... Apartments have nice high ceilings and average appliances. Current management does not give you the runaround like other places. Quiet place to live and has an Aerofit right next door with tennis courts. Suggestions: Would greatly benefit from a bus stop going toward A&M across the street, although this is out of their hands. A/C unit and ducts are very average to below average.
These apartment's are awful. They have paper thin walls, creaky floors, and a bunch of vandals. The maintenance workers don't know what their doing and do a terrible job if you need something fixed. My front door doesn't seal properly, which causes air and light to come in. When I informed the maintenance worker, he simply said " What do you want me to do about it?" The apartment complex was not properly renovated and I suggest you keep away. Also, They are extremely overpriced. Certain parts of the floor are destroyed and sink in. They don't pressure wash the patios and are ugly as hell. You don't even get a gym/pool with the apartment unless you get the Aerofit gym membership, which is pro-rated but, it's not 24 hours. So, if you want to be miserable for the next 12 months make your way to The Element At University Park with "Luxury Living". The workers that do the landscaping are extremely rude and the maintenance workers hang out in the parking lot blasting music. I had an issue with my apartment and they had to come out 5 times total and just patched the problem. I expect they do that over the entire complex. Beware: they will show you the "good" show units and stick you with a terrible one.
I hate living here. The apartment is so loud and I can't stand it. My car has been dented up and scratched. My neighbors are constantly yelling.
It's a great place to live! Ignore any reviews from before about May or April of last year (2014), because after April is when management totally changed hands, and for the better. Maintenance is prompt and friendly, as is the office staff, and the apartments themselves are very nice. We've had some noise issues with previous neighbors, but it's very quiet complex overall, and it's wonderful to have so much greenery around, and to back up to a nice neighborhood (great for walking!). The Aerofit is also nice, and the location is actually great, especially if you want to avoid game day traffic. I'd recommend it!
Currently live here and it's ok. I cannot take a shower without the water running from the bottom. I have to take my showers quick so the tub doesn't fill up all the way... Washer knob take two hands to use I have to hold it down while I turn the back of the knob or else it just starts on its own. I work nights so this might just be me but they cut they grass every week at 8 am😓. Walls are super thin you hear everything outside, upstairs, next door neighbors. You hear it all.
