My husband and I have lived here for only a few months, but we have been very impressed with the staff and management. The rent in Denver has gone up, Cierra Crest is using that income to improve the neighborhood. They are painting the entire complex, repairing the parking lot, and doing mega work with the foliage around the buildings. Our maintenance issues have been handled efficiently and professionally. As for a previous resident's complaints about the pool... We have a view of the pool, and I can assure it has not been out of control all summer. There can be several people (on the weekends!) but they are respectful and having a good time. It is a great place to meet new people. We will not be going anywhere anytime soon!
We are new renters, thanks entirely to Julie Ritter’s efforts. We were scheduled to move into a different complex entirely on the 18th, but because of issues they would not address, we couldn’t move in after driving all the way from the edge of Missouri. We found ourselves literally homeless when we came to Julie who bent over backwards to try to get us into an apartment that day. Julie was doing everything she could but there were several papers that we had sent directly to our originally accepted complex that we didn't keep copies of. She still saw us when they reopened in the morning, making sure to help us herself to maintain continuity rather than force us start over new with another associate. She immediately picked up right where we left off the night before and got us into our brand new apartment (which we are thrilled with by the way). All four of us were incredibly impressed by her efforts, and as long as they maintain that level of service we fully intend to recommend the Cierra Crest Apartments to anyone who needs an apartment.
I loved Cierra Crest Apartments, however my experience is unique in that I took advantage of their no-penalty option to move out within 30 days after moving in. I'm leaving this review especially for anyone wondering about that option and if it's really as good as it sounds. My office is in downtown Denver, and after moving into Cierra Crest I realized that I wanted to live closer to my office. I knew of Cierra Crest's option to end my lease without penalties, so I contacted Cierra Crest's leas manager by email and explained why I'd be ending my lease early. That's really all it took. The manager was polite, professional and friendly, and, per my lease contract, I was able to end the lease early with no fees. Cierra Crest even returned my deposits. As for the apartment itself, it was a wonderful space, really perfect except for the proximity from my office. The interior was clean, contemporary and well maintained. The carpet appeared to be new, and it too was clean and well cared for. All of the appliances were modern and in good working order, including the washer and dryer. My one bedroom apartment was relatively spacious with high ceilings, good lighting and room for a clearly defined living area distinct from the dining area. My bedroom was also nicely sized, with a large walk-in closet. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained, with a large bathtub / shower. The walls were solid enough that I never heard my neighbors on either side of me, just occasional footsteps from the unit above me. The overall complex was great too as it's far from downtown Denver in a relatively undeveloped area. Other tenants appeared to be professionals or students who worked or studied nearby. It's quiet, the grounds are well maintained, and I always felt safe, even when I went running late at night. Were I not looking for an apartment directly in downtown Denver, Cierra Crest would be my first choice. I strongly recommend it.
our water heater went out this morning. The whole staff at Cierra Crest made this problem go away without a hitch to our day. They(Daniel ) responded quickly and with the help of his mates assessed and went into action! They have been here and replaced water heater and were professional and courteous and were very concerned about our comfort. We have been here a long time and this prompt and professional action is one of the reasons. Thank you Jeanne and Patrick Payton
EXPERIENCE: I hardly ever write reviews (not really my thing) but i hate this place so much that i feel a social responsibility to write this review!!! Avoid at all cost! I lived there for 3 years. I had a stalker in the complex and the management didn't even care. It got so bad i had to get denver DA involved and a full blown investigation. The mans name is HANK WILLIAMS and he still currently lives in the complex. I was accused that my dog 'going to the bathroom' on the porch and someone randomly came to my apartment on a random weekend and wanted to inspect it without warning. (nothing was there but they didn't believe me via email). Becky (the main office manager) was less than profession when i contacted her with the first issue i ever had at the complex (the start of my second year) someone had placed a bug (microphone chip bug) under my apartment that had a recording that would go off every few minutes. It was a mans deep whisper voice saying "hey, can you hear me". For months i heard this voice on my porch, my friends heard it, and even Julie, an admin in the front office, sat on my porch and heard it herself!! Becky pretty much told me there is nothing she can do and insulted me by assuming i was making it up and delusional. Come to find out a few months later, maintenance found a round black bug attached to the bottom of my porch. Its something that you can get for 10 bucks at wal-mart and about the size of a quarter in diameter. That was just the beginning of the terrible experience i had there. CONS: The place is truly not worth the cost. If you get a unit that has black counter tops, its cheaply spray painted and chips. The carpet stains so easily with basic wear and tear and of course you're charged for the CHEAP WHITE carpet. Its like a renters trap or something. Appliances are cheap. Often takes two cycles to dry clothes. Walls are thin. You'll hear stomping from people above you. I had a serious issue the third year with a colic baby above me and nothing was said or done about it. PARKING is awful near some buildings, other buildings are better but for the most part its tight and in the winter walking a long distance on the colorado ice is awful! Pool is ALWAYS PACKED. Even on a tuesday at 11am! Pros: close to the light rail station (but so are 3 or 4 other apartment complexes right next door) --- i used the light rail less than 5 times. Takes FOREVER to get downtown. but if you dont have a car it is nice to have access to the lightrail! Maybe pick another complex next door. i hear Cielo is nice!!
