By far the nicest complex I've lived in. I live in a two bedroom on the third floor which makes it nicer because we have vaulted ceilings. I've seen a lot of complaints on thin walls, but I live next to really quiet and friendly people so that's no problem for me. The foundation is a touch older but it's still the most spacious and beautiful apartment I have yet to live in. As far as the staff goes, they are very friendly and they have helped me any time I have needed assistamce. Great place to live.
It wasn't all bad... in fact this is probably one of the best places to look into renting in Colorado springs. we never had surprise charges or anything crazy... I enjoyed the double lock on my door. I enjoyed never seeing a bug in my home. I really liked the space and how bright my apartment was. My unit needed an upgrade but it was still really pretty in my opinion. I felt like I was in a small house. Bethany is a really nice girl she was always on top of it any time I needed anything she was professional and had an answer. however, looks can be deceiving you have to make a really decent amount of money the rent is really expensive! we knew this when we signed the lease the issue is broken amenities that you pay for. as nice as the pool is, it is closed a lot and the hot tub was always broke. our a.c. was out all summer and it took 7 tries to get it to work. our main problem was neighbors. we were told that they care about who moves in that they like to keep a "good" clientele but that wasn't true. groups of kids are always moving in and then getting evicted shortly after. we had a very frightening instance one late night when gun shots went off directly below my unit. I watched the police pick up the shells through a window. =0 apparently they blamed an angry resident and said it was this tenants friends (not sure if that's true) I will say that it made me a little more skeptical at night but I didn't reel unsafe. I do wonder though where our "security" was for our complex. beware your showers and when your washing dishes as the hot water heater is unpredictable... at least in our place it was. any apartment you rent will have its own set of general problems some of which management cannot control like dog poop everywhere but at $1,400 a month plus... I expected better.
Nice place to live, year round pool, grounds are well kept. Now for the downside, No parking, garage is an extra 150.00, which I don't have, 4 days late and its 50.00 late fee, and 10.00 every day after. You will receive a 3 day notice to pay, then charged 250.00 in legal fees even if you let them know you are waiting on a check and communicate with them. They evict people, it appears to be a friendly atmosphere, but it is a business and they do NOT work with you at all. Do Not sign a lease here unless you are a hundred percent sure you will not lose your job, or if you own a business, put a lot of money away for rent just in case. Lesson learned for me, my rent was 1,450.00, now it will be at least 1800.00 for being 10 days late. Insanity. I will never rent from another apartment complex again, and I give this one all thumbs down.
These are your standard apartments; thin walls, nice appliances, and good floor plans. With that said however, it is extremely difficult to find a parking spot, especially near to your apartment. The office is only open to receive packages from 9-6 (tough to get a package if you work a standard work-shift), but the staff is very friendly. You are paying more for the location than the quality of the apartment here. It is extremely pet-friendly, but there is dog poop everywhere. Not a bad apartment complex, but things could definitely be improved here.
If there was an option of giving no stars I would have elected for that. Don't let the look of the apartment mislead you. When we decided we wanted to live there we though great neighborhood, next to a grocery store, next to the park and quick access to the highway. Everything went south when we actually moved in. We had a dispute with the neighbors upstairs, whom always would stomp and have frequent house parties. We brought it to the attention of the office and all they did was "give them a call." After they received the call guess what the started doing stomping AGAIN. The office workers are super nice don't get me wrong but they are USELESS. This is what made our stay so miserable. Another big problem we had in the apartment complex was parking. After a certain hour it was nearly impossible to find a parking spot. That was a big deal for us because we were pregnant. Other than that, they kept the apartments clean. I would say pass. Not worth the headache.
