I am truly appalled at how much time someone has on their hands to write such a Ludacris review online. This review offends me drastically, being that I exceedingly enjoy living here. I am a doctor and I have been living at the Cosmopolitan for 2 years now. When I came across this idiotic review, I felt the need to set the record straight. I have never been happier living in such an amazing community. There are free wine tastings every third Tuesday, amazing free food and beverages during the weeks of summer, and even small gifts to each resident when it comes time for the holidays. For "Ace of Spades" to write such an obtuse review, it appears they stayed here for quite some time to make such ignorant accusations and spiteful comments against a place to live. I have NEVER heard my neighbors while in my apartment and there are very few places to live that contain that certain type of luxury. I am not quite sure how this person is able to tell that the walls are “college ruled” and not “wide ruled” paper. Since I have been living here, there has been a male leasing agent and a female African American leasing agent who both went on to pursue bigger things in their career. They were neither asked to leave, nor fired, being that I have had cocktails with both of them since they have left. The entire leasing office is like an extended family and they go out of their way to make everyone’s living experience a pleasant one. It seems as though “ace of spades” has many deeper underlying issues than just the Cosmopolitan or its excellent staff. I think anyone who chooses to believe such a poorly written review with a statement of: “I see typos and no I do not care to correct them. This is the internet and I have a degree already” should truly consider this type of source. ECPI is always offering extra classes for basic grammar and proper English. Microsoft does come with a spell check these days and if any credibility is going to be given to such a well thought out review, one should use correct/basic typing etiquette. Cheers

Staying at the Cosmo is like paying 75 bucks for a grilled cheese sandwich! If the Cosmo was anywhere else in Virginia Beach besides for on the water at the oceanfront it would not have this outrageous price. The staff are the most rudest, ignorant, self-centered, obviously high school only graduate and most unprofessional individual I have met in 7 years ok 8 years. The staff are all "buddy buddy" so if you have a problem with one individual her friend/supervisor will do absolutely nothing. This is a dog friendly apartment complex, so in the year I stayed at this location steeping in the elevator on dog urine or almost steeping in dog poo is not uncommon. They clean very well yes but so do hotel rooms and who has not seen a dirty hotel room? Staying at the cosmo is like staying in the middle of the Norfolk Zoo. This place is overpriced just FYI new apartments are being built like a rock throw away from the cosmo.....literally! Check them out check out the website they are cheaper and you get more for your money and no i dont work for them. The walls at the Cosmo are like college ruled notebook paper. I enjoyed listening to my neighbors "have fun" at night. Is that something you want to listen to? For the price of these apartments just go buy you a house. The crime is horrible in the Virginia Beach Town Center. Check the news. Numerous ..Numerous..Numerous cars have been broken into in the parking garages yes that have walk around security and a vehicle that rolls by but its not like they are covert about it the security makes the same rounds day by day. The crime was so bad they put a camera in the parking garage and thats a fact! When you enter the parking garage (not near the office) look up that camera was not located there a year ago. Yes you are surrounded by a pool but when people are down at the pool drinking and having a good ole time your listening to it, trust me, and I was on a higher floor and heard it.They do the same ole once a month functions. Can the cosmo think of much else besides for wine tasting every month or so? Did I mention the horrible customer service. Ok, I did good. This is the only office in the world that is/was full of about 6 ladies, all of them white. I am surprised nobody applied wasnt selected hired someone fresh out out of law school and filled a Civil EO lawsuit against these "peope" I am not sure how it is now but the entire year i was there recently if you were not white and a female you didnt work in the office. The only black guy is the guy who gave you your mail who was probably making 7 dollars an hour and worked late a night waiting for you to sign for it after work. Like I said if you like paying 75 bucks for a grilled cheese go online ASAP and apply and I mean ASAP. P.S. I see typos and no I do not care to correct them. This is the internet and I have a degree already.

Absolutely loved living here. I've lived in numerous apartments (before and after) and nothing compares to The Cosmo. The staff were so friendly and you can't beat a cement structure. The only time I heard my neighbors was if they were walking passed my door in the hallway. Sure the price is a bit steep for the SF but the staff, amenities, and quality of construction made up for it. Plus, my utilities were lower here than any other complex I've lived in. If it weren't for the fact my job moved locations, my hubby and I would still be here!

I have lived in various apartment complexes throughout the country and this is the first one that I have ever lived in where the staff have sincerely have put forth the effort in bringing the best in customer service for their residents. I have had very few maintenance issues and they were all addressed immediately. The front office has resident-only events every week, especially during the summer, which makes this community even more close knit. You're in close proximity to some of the best nightlife in Virginia Beach, which was a big factor in moving to this community. I won't be moving out anytime soon!

The cosmo is a mixed bag. The location is nice and the access to bars is convenient. However, the town center doesn't really have anything for day-to-day shopping and convenience needs. The insides of the apartments are disappointing. In many units the closets are inadequate, as is the storage space in the kitchen (we have 1 drawer). It's surprising the apartments have popcorn ceilings given that they were built about 5 years ago. There's also a scarcity of lighting in the apartment. There are only lights in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also, rent is very high. Further, they run bait-and-switch 1 year deals, so that your price is more reasonable the first year, but then they jack it up if you want to stay. Access to the town center is its best quality, but there are several other places in close walking distance.
