The worst apartment complex I've ever had the displeasure of living in. The hallways and stairs were almost never cleaned, the maintenance staff is non-existent, and the management were always either ignoring our complaints or actively trying to force us to pay them more money. When we first moved in, there was a literal wad of carrion on the balcony. I guess a bird must have brought it up there, but after our cleaning requests were ignored I had to scrub the spot myself, rubbing away layers of meat and dead maggots. The roof leaks, though I'm not on the top floor, and the scariest part is that I know this is a recurring problem, because it looks like the staff lazily covered the leaking area in caulk and called it a day. But, it still leaks, and calling the "emergency maintenance hotline" never gets us any maintenance. We've had holes in the walls of the hallway for almost the entire time we've lived here. The elevator doesn't work about three days per month. A major fire gutted an apartment on the opposite end from where we live, but management didn't put out a statement until over a week later, after a lot of people placed angry letters on the front door. This fire also released asbestos into the complex, so any potential future renters have that to look forward to. Stay away from these apartments. You can find better ones.
This place is the worst place you can ever live, they shut the water down twice a week for the last couple months, the employees are assholes, my neighbors unit was burn down, and my place got alot of damaged as well, and rise and edge did not do anytjing about it
Upon move in we found the apartment looked NOTHING like the model we had been shown. The walls were painted a dark, brownish beige color, not the whit we were shown. The floor was dirty still (obviously not professionally cleaned first). The lamp and light fixtures were literally stained brown and yellow. Very old and not the fixtures shown in the model. We opened our porch door and the screen fell right off. All the screens and the AC unit were bent and rusted. The apartment stunk like very stale cigarettes, and our hall sliding doors came off their hinges. Our bathroom door did also. Neither of the toilets flushed and would back up or over flow. When the maintenance man FINALLY came on the 3rd appointment (they stood us up the first 2 times), he said that was just the plumbing and nothing they can do about it. After numerous calls and stop ins at the office (they blew us off and ignored us a few times), we finally contacted corporate and were able to break our lease after only ONE MONTH. Every neighbor I met had a complaint and nothing good to say about this place. They also shut off the water for "maintenance" at least once or twice a week. ALL DAY. We've now moved into a new place downtown and are MUCH happier. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
