I've live here for 3 months now and I really think it's a wonderful place to live at. It's a very quite and safe community with plenty of parking. In-unit washer and dryer, fireplace, dishwasher, conventional oven, and decent walk-in closet. Walking distance to Safeway and Target and only minutes away from the highway. Although it's not a new building, I haven't have any problem with any of the appliances. The heater works really well and it takes less than 15 minutes to warm my whole apartment. Jennifer in the office is very sweet and great to work with. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment and looking forward to extend my lease.
The new staff has been terrible with communication. They always promise a call back but then I end up having to actually go into the office so someone will actually talk to me. They don't respond to emails at all and if they do it takes forever. How am I supposed to get anything resolved if they make themselves scarce? Old management (Holland) was way better; they actually got back to me and seemed like they genuinely cared. I pay such a high rent for very little service and extremely outdated everything. I am so sick of having to hunt them down when I have a question or need help. How about I stop paying rent? Then will you actually get in contact with me? I would understand if you were busy making improvements but if anything it seems like things have gone downhill since the new management (i.e.; the dead grass, rude management, terrible online billing etc.). I will never live in another apartment complex ran by Griffis Blessing, thanks for a terrible experience.
My husband and I have lived here for 14 months. I've had no problem with maintenance - they come promptly and get things taken care of to the best of their ability (this place is like 30+ years old). Rent was reasonable for what we got the first year but they've jacked it up quite a bit. The appliances function but are dated. Lots of dogs owners so yes, there is dog poop, it gets so bad in the winter. However I've only had to complain about noise once, I've never seen syringes or drug use of any kind, I HAVE seen maintenece walking around cleaning up cigarette butts and misc trash. We're recently under new management with promises to update the clubhouse and pool as well as new storage doors and deck work where needed. Like I said, it's not perfect but it's clean, maintained and I feel safe here. We have a 3 month old son, so that's important! Oh, and we have a GREAT view of the mountains :)
I have lived here almost two years and have loved it. It is not the cheapest apartment but the location and amenities as well as the staff of Holland Residentials made up for this. Recently the complex was sold to Griffs/Blessing. Notes were placed on all of the residents doors stating that upgrades to the pool area would be made. It has not even been two weeks but the pool was shut down because they did not clean it and algae started growing in the pool. Promises from the new staff that the pool would be open yesterday. Went down and the pool was drained. I pay more than a thousand dollars a month to live her to have these amenities available to me and my children. New office staff extremely rude and disorganized. Called last week to say that my one of my outlets is sparking and my breaker keeps tripping! These are older buildings and if you know even a little about electricity this is extremely dangerous. NO ONE has arrived to look into this issue! When I spoke with the receptionist she acted like this is not a big deal. I know aside from myself and my family this building is full of families and young children. I am losing sleep at night wondering if my apartment is going to burn down. The landscaping that was so well maintained by Holland Residential is dying due to not being watered. Again I pay more than a thousand dollars a month to live here and this is absolutely unacceptable. I will continue to get in touch with the office staff to fix my electric issues but I will ensure that I never stay on another GRIFFS/BLESSING property and I urge all of you to save your money and live somewhere you are valued. Literally counting down until my lease is up!
These apartments are horrible, every morning i find beer cans or bottles in the parking lot and they sit there for about a week or 2 before someone picks them up, on 2 different occasions i found used syringes in the parking lot and when i called the office about it they said there's a courtesy patrol that comes around every day and makes sure the parking lot is clean, but i have never seen that happen i even emailed the owners of the property and the guy who emailed back couldn't even call me like i requested, At night when im trying to sleep there's either a dog above me howling or people reeving their engines in the parking lot or people partying and being noisy on a weekday! One night i was asleep and a loud knock comes to my door around 1am and i get up go answer it and no one is there. this is NOT a place for people who actually work! unless u don't mind finding beer bottles or syringes in the parking lot
