The school recently persecuted and promoted the shunning of a child who stated he did not believe in a God. Should give you an idea of how tolerant of other's beliefs or even facts the school is.

Both my eldest son and currently my middle daughter have been involved with this school and have done great.

I went here kindergarten-4th Grade. I HATED first, third, and fourth grade. Kindergarten I loved because I had the best teacher ever. Seond grade same. Okay, so First Grade: My teacher was a complete b**ch! Third Grade: My teacher went on a 3 month maternity leave when she had a baby 4 months ago! Seriously? And I learned things I did not want to learn from fellow classmates. They got me in SOO much trouble. Fourth: Okay so my "best friend" From all my previous years started talking sh*t about me and it was all not true. (Her name was ASHLEY CERMINARA) My teacher didnt help AT ALL. And the new principal was a jerk and didn't care.

I'd say these other "reviews" are some sort of joke by the parts of the posters. This is a school like any other school. Poorly funded, adapting to a changing technological climate and struggling with overcrowding and some teachers and parents used to things being a certain way, usually wrongly. The new principal (notice the correct spelling) has a strong child-focus and wants the school to be a healthy, happy institution OF LEARNING. It's not a glorified day care like many other schools where all you have to do is nap and do arts and crafts. Also, in regards to the negative attitude in mixing students of differing learning ability, people are capable of helping each other out, even at a young age. It's not wrong to teach a helpful attitude to people while they're still children, otherwise you end up like "mom" down there, probably missing her old home in segregated Germany.

They don't like parents in the school for any length of time. The principal has a condescending nature and doesn't like parental suggestions. She runs the show & it doesn't matter if your child is getting hit everyday during recess. She abuses her power, and in effect is creating a fortress school where parents have little imput & the PTA is just a vehicle for her to delegate tasks.
