HORRIBLE PARKING!!!! I've been living there NOT even a month and already got a warning that my car will get towed. I've had the need to park on a curve, because EVERY parking is FULL. My roomate got her car towed and they claimed it got towed because it was on a handecap parking, but she was not even close to one. She requested a refund and the office manager just gave her attitude, telling my friend just to buy a garage. We rent here no reason to buy a garage, we are supposed to have parking available.
Worst place I've lived in my life. Ms Pam and Ms Rochelle are so unprofessional. They are great until you move in, then the nightmare begins. I don't recommend this place for nobody, even my worst enemies. The only thing that i liked was the location, that's it.
This has to be the worst experience I have ever been thru when it comes to a place I call home. The community staff has engaged with a youth group home allowing troubled youth to live in apartments within the same buildings as working professionals. The loud music, pounding on walls, spitting off the balcony, smoking marijuana... I cannot believe I am going through this in a place where I am paying nearly $1600 a month. The name of the group home is New Direction in case you wish to do research of your own. The staff of the Preserve have done nothing to alert residents of this decision and try to hide it from us. DO NOT RENT HERE... ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED!!! Thankfully I only signed a 7 month lease... 6 weeks left and counting. Used condoms in the parking lot and common areas, found a crack pipe in the grass near my vehicle, dog crap everywhere even though they have dog refuse stations throughout the community, college party like atmosphere, late night parties, no parking, busted security gate on a monthly basis... Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many issues to call this place home. You have been warned
I live at the preserve and its awesome here yeah
The first impression of the property and the staff was great. Everyone was really friendly and the property looked awesome! But after just a few weeks living at the community you really start to notice its flaws. Big ones! The main gate was broken for several months which allowed all kinds of individuals to walk in without any supervision. The second pool which was located just in front of my apartment felt more like a public community park. People from all over the town would come to enjoy a private pool without any supervision from the property staff. The parties would last all weekend long with dozens of cars all over, loud music, DJ, alcohol and wild teens. Right away we noticed something was really wrong. For several times we would walk our dog late at night to find people smoking pot in the back bushes, teenagers using the pool in the middle of the night, people jumping the fence (or actually destroying it in order to trespass) and even car racing and screeching tires at 2am just below our window! When we contact the office staff they told us no one had ever reported these problems to them, which we found really unfortunate and never quite understood. We were told by them to call the police, which we did several times. After also reporting the problems several times to the management office and calling the local police, the episodes would slowly decrease but problems kept on coming. On the first set of heavy rains my living room window got several leaks and I found myself running for towels and trying to avoid a major damage to my brand new couch/furniture. The office was immediately notified, they came to fix the problem, doing a basic repair to the roof. Couple weeks go by and I have the same problem, now 10x worse. They “fixed” it until another set of rain… let’s just say I don’t trust whoever was responsible for that repair. Only a few weeks ago I come home for lunch and one of my neighbors decide to take her huge furry golden retriever for a swim at the property pool. Unbelievable! All this in less than 10 months living at The Preserve. Well, there is more… time to renew our lease comes up and I am told my lease increased $100 PER MONTH. New neighbors are welcome to pay around $1275 for the same apartment but my family, who have been living there for one year without paying any late fees and with a perfect payment history have to pay $1350. They really like to take your money up front, charging you crazy fees at the door, reason why rent increases so fast, so you can move out and more money can move in. No wonder why there is always a moving truck just around the corner. Right away anyone will be able to see the flaws at The Preserve. Don’t take me wrong, it is a beautiful community, at an excellent location. I did have some very nice neighbors and a lot of the people that works there are really nice people, but it is obvious there is something really wrong with the management which adds up to some awful rules resulting in some very unhappy families, like mine.
