We lived there for almost a year and then decided we had to go. We had several problems while we were there with our neighbors above us very loudly fighting and a child in the middle of it crying. We even called the cops to come out and nothing was ever done about it. Our patio was constantly being flooded to the point where it would almost come inside and we were told to unclog our drains to prevent it. It was a filthy mud hole. Uokn move out they slapped us with a ton of fees that are out and out lies. They were completely dishonest about everything. That place is a joke. Not to to mention I had to pay almost 1000 dollar deposit and got none of it back due to their false allegations. Just don't do it unless you like paying out the ass for damages you didn't do.
I am enjoying my time here at Cross Creek. I get the advantages of apartment living with the feeling of living away from the noise and confusion of a city. The property managers have been very responsive to any issues I have and are very friendly and curteous.
Lived here for a good while now and really enjoy the staff. We will be sadly moving out soon due to the new rent rates being well above anything reasonable for this location and age of the units. If you can afford to live here certainly do! I've had excellent neighbors and the staff is always kind. You'll run into the same ole stuff you'll find with any older outdated apartment complex though but the maintenance that works here always does a fast and reliable job. Suggestion: Take rents back to the 650 range and none of this 780 stuff and you'll keep folks around.
Good community, quite, and homely...
My mother rented a place there, and they put on that smile and all was well! I went to visit her over the weekend, and while I was there my crazy, troublemaking ex-girlfriend called the police, not the first time, and said there was a meth lab in her apt? Give me a break! So, the police come and my mother tells them about her, my ex's, vindictiveness and tells them to look around we had nothing to hide. Of course, they find nothing and end up apologizing to her and said they would disregard any future calls, and that they see that kind of vindictiveness all the time. The police said that they had to inform the apartment about them coming out, but it was no big deal. Well, the next day the apt mngr has my mother, who is a disabled and retired CPA and Notary Public, come by the office and tells her that she is being evicted, please be out in a week! Their "official reason" was that she had a person, me, staying there without their consent. I had came by during the weekend to help my disabled mother out! So, basically they kicked her out on the street over some prank phone call my crazy ex made! I've never seen treatment of an honest, disabled human being like that! If that's the kind of people you're looking to rent from, then look no further. Personally, I saw the greed in their heart like I'd never seen in anyone's before! She thought about fighting it, because it was an obvious illegal eviction. But, she's a Christian lady and said that she wouldn't feel right about staying and contributing to a place that only uses people for their financial benefit, while caring less for the person or the hardship they cause! Just wanted to let you know the type of people they are. God Bless.
