you dont want to live here Niam is the manager and he is a dick to everyone. including his staff. he is always rude and dose not know how to be nice!!
Run! Don't look back! I could go on for days to tell you all the stuff they don’t want you to know as a future resident. First, I don’t know how many times I’ve been told “it’s out of my hands.” At your first glance everything looks pretty decent, then you find out the price which is ridiculous. For an apartment that is far from being luxury they act like they are the nicest apartment in the Denver. The management can’t handle any tasks to properly take care of the complex unless it’s to tell you that a bike on your patio isn’t allowed or that even when you don’t own a dog you need to clean up after them. Then when your utilities come to $200 dollars more not using heat or A/C (this is also not including the bills you pay on your own) they’ll to tell you it’s the economy’s fault or blame the company that bills them. They don’t tell you that you have to pay for electricity for the common area which I’m sure The Ventana Apartments can afford since they scam you for every dime you have. Niam is the worst apartment manager I have ever worked with! If you leave him a message or have any questions you might as well ask a 3 year old because they could answer it better than him. The only nice thing I’ve noticed about the apartment is the people that live her all have to suffer from the same stupidity. It is not worth any of your time to look or live at these apartments.
The apartments are great but the management is very inconsistent. It seems like there is a new manager every month practically. A couple of the maintinence staff are very rude and slow. I had one guy take over a week to come fix my clogged garbage disposal so I had to have someone else do it because I could not use my sink and it smelled. Once he got here finally and I told him it was already done, he yelled at me for not "letting him do his job". When people were fixing the roof, they were using my balcony to stand on and eat snacks and chat without my permission and when I told them to get off my balcony, they refused. After I called management about it, I could hear them on the roof through my fireplace talking about what a bitch and a c word I am. I had to put up with this for hours. Then once they finally left, there was trash all over my balcony from them and they had destroyed two of my plants by knocking them over and had moved around all of my furniture. I was pissed. I got no help from management and will definitely not recommend anyone live here.
DON'T DO IT. Bottom line is "This apartment management and staff are bunch of thieves". I lived in this apartment complex twice. They took my security deposit both times saying I had damage and touch up paint and so, they charged me the full deposit. The second time I lived there and only because I had to, They said the apartment was damaged and needed paint and cleaning done. So not only they charged me the entire security deposit, but they wanted more. I was charged $1000 because they failed to put a 60 day notice in their stupid system. their staff are lazy and inconsiderate. When I talked to the manager 'Naeem" he said that I'm only giving him words and no proof on paper that I had verbally given a 60 day notice to his staff. When I went in to give my 60 days notice I was told that they didn't have the notice printed out, (WE RAN OUT OF IT, WE'LL HAVE SOMEONE DELIVER IT TO YOUR APARTMENT LATER ON TODAY OR THIS WEEK) this is what I was told by an employee in the ventana office. but they never did. They were quick to deliver a 3 day warning though saying that I didn't pay the rent when I paid it but they were to lazy to check their drawers and find my check. The service is terrible. Maintenance is horrible. the apartments are ran down. the roof leaked water for as long as I lived there. the patio glass is so thin and cheap and it blows cold ass air in the winter that kicks your power bill up to $200. I implore you not to live there, please. If you have to, come stay at my place for few days until you find a better place. don't rush into renting there.
Not sure where these other people are living, that is definitely not where I live lol. I'm a college student going to DU, friend and I found it over one summer when we couldnt live in the dorms anymore. Super reasonable pricing(if youre like me and live with 3-4 people in a 2 bedroom), ABSOLUTELY NO BUGS. I hate that, that's the worst thing you can say about a place imho and like, never have I had a problem even remotely close to that. Honestly the biggest problem is when you have neighbors that are into that whole domestic violence thing, get pretty noisy as the walls arent super thick. Anyhow, temperature's are great, maintenance is absolutely responsive and wonderful, everyone I've ever seen at the front desk is more than willing to help you out with any problems you're having. For the price, I'd be willing to say this is one of the best places around, unless y'know you've got tons of money to spare. I come from a lower-middle class family, and I find this place perfect for this time in my life, and would probably feel the same if I were older but didnt have a whole lot of money.
