We absolutely LOVE living here! The location and amenities are convenient and quite enjoyable, and the staff is fantastic! We have never had a problem finding a decent parking spot, nor have we had any issue getting our issues handled with the office. It raises questions in my mind when I read other reviews which indicate otherwise, such as who is writing them, whether they enjoy complaining and having something to be irritated over and how they perceive and approach others in their dealings... as for us, our experience with this community and the staff has been paramount to any other apartment living we have done. The office folk are friendly and responsive and good natured. The premises is well kept. Rent is very affordable and a huge value in terms of what is offered, in comparison to the rest of the current rental market. This is the only apartment complex we have resided in where we actually intend to renew our lease- usually, it's a relief when the commitment is up, but this time we feel we have found home :)
The location of the complex itself is great and within walking distance to Old Town Littleton as well as the light rail. The staff of the community itself is hit or miss. The staff is not very responsive or proactive with their efforts on communicating to the residents. My fiancé and I have lived at this community for almost a year. When we have needed something from the staff such as checking on a package, renewing our lease, determining when maintenance is going to be stopping by to change out our filter (which hasn't been done since we moved in) despite efforts to request it, or simply getting a new parking pass has been nothing short of easy and convenient. It is a very difficult and has been an unwelcoming experience since the beginning. We try not to have to go to the office because it is a hassle and feel like we have to track down someone to help us multiple times which is time consuming and annoying to say the least. Recently, we have made 4 attempts to stop by the office to find out information about our renewal which we should have had 30 days ago and continue to be told to come back. Upon moving in, we had to call multiple times because the phone was never answered and had to stop in in-person to request a walk through of our apartment. After we did the walk through we requested new carpet because the carpet was old, dingy, stained and was peeling back from the threshold between the carpet and the linoleum. We were told we would get new carpet and requested a wall to be painted (free of charge) which is a nice perk. After two weeks, we came back again to check on the apartment, especially because it was the day before we moved in and the carpet looked like it wasn't even cleaned. Long story short, this is what we are dealing with at this complex and still have gross carpet.
When I first moved in the apartment was not as it was described. Hard wood floors are really linoleum that looks like wood and the tile floors that were in the model apartment were not in the bathroom area either. You guessed it more linoleum flooring. Cheap plastic floors. Also the appliances in the model are stainless steel but what you get is crappy black old appliances. What am I paying for ! You can hear people leave their apartment and you can hear their crappy music choices early in the morning. At around 7 am almost every morning there is someone with their music playing. I am not sure if it's above or below. You almost never can find a parking spot anywhere near your building if you have a social life. I am so over the parking and they say we are going to start towing. Whatever. I almost hit this motorcycle that is parked taking up an entire space multiple times because I forget that it's parked there constantly and never moves. WTF! There is no garage to rent because it's rented to hoarders instead of people that need to park their car. How can you fill an entire garage with junk ? My neighbor downstairs has a dog that is never on a leash and I see her down there with it and it's shitting anywhere it wants; she never picks up after her dog. Then she runs to the apartment and the dog runs after her, she slams the door shut thinking no one has seen her and her stupid dog. Guess what lady people see you not picking up your dog's shit. I am moving!! SURPRISE! They will have one less renter to take up a parking space. Good luck to anyone that stays in that shitty place.
I agree with everyone that the light rail isn't a quick walk, but it's not bad. Just 15 minutes or a five-minute bike ride, still worth it. I personally love this place, and I couldn't ask for better property management. I literally just emailed them to ask if they could check inside my apartment to see if I left my curling iron on. (Seems extreme, but I have the worse luck ever.) And they did -- no questions asked. That's the kind of property management firm you want. Especially if you are paying more to rent and for that service. The apartments are super nice and so far, we've had no trouble with our neighbors. For what you pay, what you get, how acessible you are to the light rail (you can be in downtown denver in 20 minutes), it's definitely a good find.
If I could place a negative star on this place I would! This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The "management" office is a joke. The entire staff is rude and incompetent. This company does not care about the best interest of their tenants, all they care about is scamming people into believing they are moving into new "high-end" apartments. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone! After a long day of work the last thing you want to do is spend 20 minutes trying to find parking to end up parking three blocks away. Then spending the rest of your night wondering whether or not your car will still be there in the morning. They will tow your car even if you have a parking permit and don't even think about asking the "management" for help, they will just lie and tell you there is nothing they can do. That will set you back about $300. If you are considering moving into these apartments, I would highly recommend you keep looking, trust me no place is worth this much headache.
