** Updating my review 3/10/15** Changing my review to three stars as if they made it even, it was okay overall.... Its been three months since I sent them a certified letter fighting in detail the charges for my move out.. I haven't heard anything from the management company, or a shady collection company.. Credit file untouched.. So although still bitter and not the best apartment experience.. changing to OK for now... ************************************I lived here 6 months.. Well 5 1/2...I moved out early but gave the right amount of notice and they had a extra couple weeks to to clean and such..Parking was good- Near town and walking distance to restaurants and bus lines .. Now the bad... I could hear everything above me with the thin walls and stairs that go to the upper units.. and the people don't clean up after their dogs, there is dog waste everywhere.. I was in the bottom unit and plumbing backed up in the kitchen one night.. Into my kitchen and surrounding floors.. Horrible mess- Took almost 24 hours to get it fixed ... I came home from work on a Friday night and it didn't get fixed until Saturday afternoon- They said it was "only" waste from sinks but it was disgusting.. the carpets in the kitchen area were drenched and it went through the wall into the living room..I had to go search for property maintenance guys the following Saturday morning before the office opened as they forgot about my issue... I never made a big deal with the management office- Even though the smell really never went away- I am a nice person- When I moved out I was in a hurry- There was no major damage- I figured my $150 deposit would go towards cleaning- Well they charged me for carpets, painting and stuff that was NOT WRONG with the apartment.. I am fighting it.. Things that happen with the water damage - But it was MY fault for not making the management office aware of the damage even thought he maintenance guys were well aware, even told me they were remolding my apartment next due to damage.. So when you move out, if you actually move into this place ( they have new management hey maybe they are better, I heard they used to be really nice and fair ) record with a video recorder and better yet have someone from the office do a walk through to document the place.... I am still fighting my charges.. And every time something goes wrong, have the office document it.. Shady way to do business..
The new management is 20x better and more efficient. Nicole always makes me feel welcome and at home in the most professional way possible. The property is so beautiful. I'd definitely recommend.
If it went for Nicole I wouldn't have chosen these apartments. She has been extremely friendly and pleasant on every occasion. She does everything within her power to try and be helpful in any situation.
Nicole has been awesome in general and these appartments have been good about working with us on problems both on our side and theirs.
I picked the villas because of their great central location and amenities. The staff, especially my leasing officer Nicole, was very helpful and thorough. I was offered a variety of apartment and leasing contracts which made it easier to choose the right option for me.
