Recently moved out. My husband & I were new to this state & needed something relatively close to McGuire & Cherry Hill & this 'looked' like a nice place to live at from the outside. I never toured the apartment because I was in another state but I received a video of it. Um, not what I expected when I got to there. Everything is nice & spacious BUT the disgusting tiny bathroom. The sink is yellow from how old it is, the metal handles are rusty, I love taking bubble baths but that was NOT an option there, that tub was gross. It was painted over & the paint was coming off, the closet in the bathroom was always humid & anything I put in there always stunk when I took it out. The bathroom was my biggest complaint but the living room walls are not left behind... They look like they have veins from how old this place is. They need serious renovation. We had our washer & dryer replaced because it was OLD. Maintance was nice but they took forever to fix anything.
First of all when we leased they would not let us see an apartment other than the model. Well that should have been a sign, the kitchen is small, counterless, no drawers gray and just Yuck!!! The bathroom is the same low quality. We settled in for a while (we were stuck) until it was time to break the lease due to circumstances beyond my personal control. Let me tell you, you will get noboby to help you (front office is useless), no phone numbers to contact people and in the end you will pay $$$$.
I have lived at Village Square for a while now and will describe in full detail what you can expect from them if you live here.
They will make you think this is a great place to live, but really it's not!!! It's like living in a dump!!!! At first they will take your call when you call the office for a problem, but after a while they will ignore you when you call. Once I called about a very serious problem that should have been handled right away, but they let it wait for a week before they came out to fix the problem. It cost a lot for heating and airconditioning due to no insulation, actually there is only sheet rock, & siding on the building. The doors don't fit right so you will get a nice breeze that comes in and don't call them to fix it because they will just come out to make the problem worse!! You will pay high rent and get nothing but problems in return. I tried to just ignore all of this because I don't have a choice of where I live, but I didn't think it would be right if I didn't share my experience. I might not have a choice, but you do!!!!
A wretched hive of scum and villainy!
