Your front office employees are going to be hit or miss depending on how they feel that day, at best patronizing and condescending at all times. The total rent they tell you is not the total rent due, there will be additional charges that will go up every month throughout your lease. My very first rent bill was 1175, the second was around 1200, by the last bill at the end of the lease it was 1260. Something to keep in mind when they tell you, "everything except electricity/gas/internet is included in the rent price" - bullshit. You might have a better time than I did, during the time I was there it was apparently renovation time and there was about 2 or 3 months out of the year long lease that there Wasn't construction. If you're a pool/gym person then don't bother either, the gym equipment is mostly broken and the pool was closed most of the summer due to more upgrades and construction that wasn't even complete months after starting during summer (which is the only time to use the pool anyway). Which is funny because the draft in these apartments is crazy, you'll be freezing your ass off unless you have that heater/fireplace running 24/7 or sweating your balls off during summer without a buncha fans you'll have to buy. Repairs were quick and timely, that was about all I enjoyed about staying there, there were much cheaper places to pick, but I thought I'd pay more for a better place at Terra Vista (that wasn't what happened at all). On a last note, you'll never get to park inside the complex after 5pm, most likely you'll have to park across the street or far away from where you actually live, which is fun when you come home dead tired and have to cross a ditch to get to your bed. Expect moving out to be a mess as well, they'll try to swindle you on any fee they can possibly get, it be like pulling teeth to get out of there without additional late fee, property fixes, utilities you turned off... anything they can possibly bill you for, they will.
I had just moved from here almost a month ago and upon reading these reviews and had to put in my own. I had lived there for 1 1/2 years and yes there was construction and remodeling but I felt this was a good thing hence the word "remodeling", yet I see some people complaining because they felt it was "dated", hmm. Now I'm not a genius but would you not notice this when you rented the apartment? Glass in the pool? I'm sure the staff did not intentionally put broken glass in the pool for people to get cut on....I think it would be safe to assume it was someone who was violating the community rules. Do what I do, bring it to their attention when you see something, it is all of our responsibility to keep where we live a nice place to live. Publically accusing people of being drunk or what ever is pretty immature and maybe you are just not mature enough to be out on your own and need to stay with your parents for a couple more years until you produce a little more common sense. People are so quick to judge, it's a shame. I'd still be there if I hadn't bought my own house!
Where do I start? They're constantly in construction on something (breezeways, gym, pool, parking lot, etc.) This takes away the small amount of parking they do have, forcing my roommates and I to park on the street. They recently had an electrical fire in another complex and have shown that most of the apts. have faulty wiring. The maintenance crew is always late, rude, or drunk (pick two). The staff in the office are rude and incompetent. Oh and their raising the rent to excessively high amounts. Other than that....the neighbors are incredibly friendly.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and professional accountability. I have only been a resident for two months and have had the worst experience with the property management/office team. I was given the wrong address when I signed my lease. It took me two days to correct my drivers license, xcel account, mail and bills. Not to mention the missing mail and packages. The only response I received from the front desk was "oops". All the “extra fees” were not explained or spelled out. These fees didn't show up until my second bill. I now have an additional $105 for administrative fees, “valet trash service” etc etc. Be careful of the wolf in sheep’s clothing because this property management/front desk team have no qualms about taking you to the bank. Don't rent here. They are a complete let down.
Inexperienced employees I turned in my rent to the wolf star employees via Cashiers check. 10 days later I get a notice on my door saying that I am being evicted. Confused. I went to the office where they told me I never turned it into them. Showed them proof of the check. They still denied it. Then charged me $40 more. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY'S TRICKS.THEY WILL LOSE YOUR CHECKS BECAUSE THERE ISNT PROOF OF THEM PHYSICALLY RECEIVING IT, TO CHARGE YOU MORE IN LATE FEES
