It's haunted, bad refrigerating, roaches, theives, people don't smile, OR say hi when you smile or say hi, dog poo everywhere, very pricey . Worse place ever
This place can be better. I would say that the only person that I truly enjoyed doing business transactions is with Christina. She is very professionall and highly personable. She is a go to person when it comes to any problems and genuine. Overall the place is very small for the price and appliances are extremely small. I am constantly doing laundry everyday and my water bill seems to Increase its cost monthly.
When I found this apartment online, I fell in love with it. I made an appointment with them asking to see the gazebo style. The lady by the name of Christy told me she had one ready to look at once I'm there. I live about 4 hours away and when I got there, the same woman told me that she only had the trellis available for me. I would've been completely okay if they had called me in advance to me making the trip telling me this information as I had made the appointment a week prior to coming. Once I had gotten there, she got the keys to the apartment. The apartment was filthy. It reeked of a trashy smell and the floors were dirty with dead bugs. Personally, if I knew people were coming to check out the apartment, I would clean it prior to them viewing it. I left afterwards and found some other apartments. I was shocked to see that the apartments we looked at were spotless and the staff wasn't expecting us, where Springhouse was. Yesterday I made a phone call to the manager who had an attitude and tried to say that the apartment I witnessed with my own eyes and two others ( my husband and my grandmother were with me) was cleaned and had brand new flooring installed. That was definitely not the case. Needless to say, we will NOT be coming back and I recommend no one else does either.
We recently had no running water for five days and were only given a four-day rent credit. Management acted like they were doing us a big favor by giving us the credit in the first place, claiming that we still had "full functional use" of our apartments. Yes, I could use my kitchen, but I could not flush my toilet or shower for FIVE DAYS! I missed two days of work because I could not show up to a professional environment looking or smelling like I did. The residents received excuse after excuse as to why this went on for as long as it did, claiming that workers were on site as late as 11:30 pm, which is a total lie. My husband checked on the progress of the work supposedly being done multiple times, and there was no staff or outside contract workers on site past 6:00 pm, when the office closes. Aside from this most flagrant example of mismanagement and irresponsibility, living in these apartments has been so-so. Our appliances are old and of the poorest quality and often break down. Our dishwasher is unnaturally loud and doesn't even get the job done, so we now hand-wash our dishes. Every time something has needed fixing in our apartment, a worker shows up, looks at the problem, and claims that a part needs to be ordered. He says he will be back in a day or two, but we always have to call again after several days have passed with no update. None of this would be a huge deal, but we are paying over $2000 a month in rent, and we expect all of the promised amenities to be in full-functional order. However, we know our complaints fall on deaf ears, so there really is no point in complaining. We'll just move instead once our lease is up. The one-star in my rating is due to the fact that it is nice and quiet, at least in my building.
