One of the worst service, I have seen at the front office. No proper response and follow-up on the complain.
The owner of the establishment ask me publish a review for them to tell other people what I think about living at this building. I am happy to do so for professionals who treat us so good. Fairlane Woods Estate Homes treat us very good. I enjoy the breakfast and do not believe it is not at extra expense to me.They do things to things to bring happiness to neighbors and introduce friendship. I worry for my wife as she is alone much of the day since I work so much at the university. We are not from the States, but Fairlane owners and helpers truly care about her. They always planning things and now my wife is helping too.
I moved to Fairlane Woods while my house is being rebuilt because of a fire. It is hard to be in an apartment when you are used to a house. But this is a beautiful apartment place and hen you are inside of it does not feel like a apartment complex. People that work here are very nice. They are good to the customers. I did have one problem one two occasions because it was not fixed the first time. I had a leak last September that seemed to leave a smell in a drain and it bothered me very much. I was very upset and called to report it a second time. The maintenance man returned with the manager the same day. It was fixed right away and the maintenance man and manager came to my house to inspect it. They went above and beyond and replaced my whole sink even though it was not needed. I did not expect that to happen. They are always very nice to us. I will be moving soon but I will actually miss Fairlane Woods Apartments because it is so pretty and the people are so caring.
This is my review of Fairlane Woods Apartments: My favorite thing about the Fairlane Woods Apartments is the woods. There is a lot of nature, like raccoon, deer, and hummingbird. They do a very good job keeping it beautiful and clean. But one thing the office needs to do is control the public coming in. Especially during summer and fall. Especially in summer I notice people that are not residents or homeowners taking photos in the park and lake areas. Everyone dislikes it when people sneak in by following other cars through the gate. The place is private and for the residents only. The office really needs to try to stop that. Rent is not cheap. It is close to $1300 for a 2 bedroom. But I also believe it is worth it because you get what you pay for. The apartment is huge. I do wish the refrigerator had an ice-maker, but I love the fireplace, and storage is plenty. My favorite thing about the apartment are the views, but that goes back to the woods. Another thing I love is that the apartment workers take your trash out for you here. 5 days a week, doorside service and they call it trash butler service. They serve breakfast during the week all year. In the summer, they hire pool monitors. This made a big difference. A couple years ago, no one could use the pool, it was horrible. It was often dirty, or used by people who didn't live there. They keep it spotless, peaceful, and it is always open. The monitors make sure the pool pass rule is enforced so there is no riff-raff. They have someone at the gate everyday at night. They painted the whole outside last summer and are always working to improve the apartment community. Nothing is perfect but in the Detroit area, this place is as close as it gets.
