We have lived here for a few years at first it was okay but then we started to experience a quick turnover of neighbors n we know why now. It gets worse n worse. When the office is told about an issue. About trash, kids in the parking lots, kids messing with cars, nothing is done. But are quick to fine u because of kids throwing trash everywhere. they allow pets which is nice however no one picks up their dog's mess so it's always everywhere and maintenance does not replace the bag stations. Not gated at all anyone has access. Patrol sucks. Never around. Maintenance is very slow about fixing things there's always some situation whether it's SWAT situations or just a simple cop call. Cars are constantly damaged, broken into or stolen. Yet management will have your car towed if you have a flat. Nothing is ever addressed by management. We go through managers like every 8 months be cuz the manager can't deal. They raise the rent every year. You can find a house for this price with no difference cuz maintenence doesn't come anyways. Every single apartment has a roach problem. We have plenty of neighbors who have complained of the same issue no matter how clean you are they are in the walls. The place needs to be bombed. All bldgs. Looks nice on the outsidedge but they are awful.

This place sucks its expensive and shity
The old management didn't give a damn about the residents, and the new management treats us all like criminals. Every little thing that happens warrants some notice on the door. The rent is cheap but the apartments are disgusting, floors are old, nothing is "renovated," kitchen is from 30 years ago. We told them about the problems about our unit when we first moved in, and 9 months later, they still haven't fixed them. The "gated" community is hardly ever gated--they never gave us the key card for the buzz-in gate, and now they just leave all the gates open. No wonder there is so much theft here. The "state of the art" gym is only open during business hours, and sometimes the management are not even in their office. They have 3 cardio machines, the treadmill doesn't work, and the elliptical is on its deathbed. Half the machines in the laundry are broken, so you end up using twice as much as you need to wash your clothes. There is one tiny, tiny seasonal pool that took forever to open; they were so strict that they started banning people from using it if a little rule was broken. As for the neighbors, I haven't been bothered by anyone. The only good thing about this place is that it's close to the freeway. Don't ever move here. It sucks.
I've been living at Copper Ridge and yes, a new management group who has bent over backwards to keep me happy. Every wrong thing except 1 was fixed within the first week of living there. I have a 2 bedroom and pretty much keep to myself. I am living here because it's inexpensive, waiting for hubs back in NE to sell the house. Yes, occasionally I hear a car stereo for a few minutes, hear some skateboards in the parking lot, but no rude teenagers, no public drinking or intoxication, and when one youngish girl was having a problem with some skank in the parking lot, 5 of us called 911. Then her father showed up and took care of it. My apt has alot of signs that there WAS violence in there, so I'm sure what the other wrote before was true. Now in 2010, they have really been trying to turn it around, my rent is cheap and I have a flat rate for utilities that is VERY reasonable - and my a/c works fine as does everything else.
