We have complained a few times about non residents in the grarage and the security was either dismissive or ignorant or our complaints. Now that bikes parts have started to be stolen I am elevating this complaint.
It's a nice looking environment, and I always felt safe. I will give it that. With that said, it is far too overpriced for the amenities (which is basically only a pool, a parking garage, and a tiny gym). The square footage is overpriced. Some of the staff are great, but the management is horrible, irresponsible, and will not take care of your needs should you have any. I HIGHLY advise anyone considering Bay Street to keep looking. You can get a lot more for a lot cheaper. I would look up property management companies if I were you, and find a house with a garage, where the property is maintained, with 150% of the sq footage for much LESS than you will pay at bay street.
Are you kidding for the rent you can buy with 3% down FHA
Except for the Loud train right on your back door, its a great place. Price is outrageous though. Been living here for a year and they decide to increase rent by almost $200/month (8%). I've never been late or gave them any grief. They say its a negotiation but what about customer retention? i'm so disgusted, i can't wait to move out. I won't even try to negotiate...
BEWARE OF MOLD!! If you ever have any issues the apartment complex will not help you! My husband and I currently live in this building and after 6 months of living in our apartment we began to have mold grow in our apartment and it got exponentially worse within just one month! We had to call maintenance several times to remove mold but the problem was not going away. We asked the building management to check for mold toxicity, and make sure there wasn't any mold in the wall. They "claimed" that mold was not in the wall and as residents we were safe. We decided to transfer apartments and asked for a report listing the dates that maintenance came in so we could have a record; management said that was fine. We moved into our new apartment, and no report was ever given. We asked for a report and all of sudden there was a policy where the apartment building couldn't disclose what was done in our own apartment!! SUSPICIOUS? I think so. For the amount of $$$ we pay in rent, and getting no compensation for our items you would think they could give us a summary report, which costs them nothing. Unfortunately we are stuck here for the next few months but cannot wait to get out. The look of the building is nice but what is that worth if there is mold growing all over your things??
