its the worst place that you can live on, and you will pay for unknowing things that the make it for you i lived for a year and half and i found out that their goal is to let you broke the lease to pay them more its a smart idea but it cost you a lot.
I lived there for a year and love it. It was so convenient to be just a shuttle away from school. Never had maintenance problems. Carpets were brand new and everything looked so clean. No complaints at all. I love the kitchen and appliances. I also really appreciated the built in desks. I had no printer so I used the business center a lot and always available.
The apt shown to us was nice but the one we got was diacusting. We have had a major roach problem that took them 3 months b4 they would actually do anything about it. There isn't enough parking for the amount of apt they have. And our cars have been towed even though we have parking permits. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! We can not wait to get out of our lease
I have lived at Broadstone Ranch for two years, in the smaller one bedroom. The first year was great, but the recent change in management companies has caused tons of problems for me. I have had over 3 different accounting errors from them and each time I brought it to there attention they did not take ownership of the mistake and blamed it on the previous management company. I also had a $35 credit from a previous balance where I had over paid my rent with the previous management company and the new management would not honor the credit because I did not have documentation of the credit. I can understand that the credit was not obtained by me during the time they took over but you would think they would want to work with a long term resident who causes no problems and is timely with rent payment. Also once the new management took over the property the entrance gate has not maintained working condition for longer then a few days. This was not the case before they took over. I also know that the property has had 3 resident’s homes broken into and vandalized in the middle of the day while the management staff was in their offices. The workout facility on property was in tip top condition until the new company came in. Now the TV’s in the cardio machines do not turn on, there are dried sweat stains all over the walls and equipment that only would require a quick wipe down. I guess the new management has other priorities then keeping things clean and in working condition.
the trouble begins with the construction of the place. at first, i just thought the people living above me were being Super loud, but they're actually just really cheaply made and there is no insulation between the floors, so it's just a giant sound vacuum. i hear EVERYTHING the people above me do, from stomping around at 3am to using the bathroom and dropping the toilet seat, to opening and closing dresser drawers. i'm 22 years old and i have to sleep with earplugs almost every night. then there is the issue of the pool. i leased close to the pool because it had a nice view and was told that the pool "closes at 10pm and is locked by a security officer every night". this is not true. it may be POSTED that the pool closes at 10, but there are drunken screaming idiots there 3-4 nights a week. it took me about a month to get management to respond to my complaints, and i STILL have to call the security officer to get him to come out and lock the pool, he doesn't do it himself. management is nice enough, they listen to complaints and try to fix them, but the problems definitely outweigh the benefits. it's also super overpriced...but if your parents pay for everything, who cares, right? ...my lease is up in 4 months, and i can't WAIT to get out of here.
