Broadstone Ranch has really nice apartments! I live by myself so I opted for the Chisolm floor plan. It's such a nice, cozy, apartment for one person. The newly remodeled kitchens are beautiful, my bathroom is pretty big, and the overall aesthetic of the apartment is really nice. The staff is super quick at responding to orders. My only complaint thus far is the cleanliness of the property, and the fact that my smoke detectors keep going off at random! I've complained about this to them twice before, and specifically stated each time that the batteries do not need to be replaced, yet each time they replaced the batteries. The smoke detectors actually go off as if an actual fire is occurring when it's not. I'm bringing this issue to their attention once again because it woke me from my sleep about 20 minutes ago. How annoying. As far as the cleanliness of the complex goes, in my particular unit the breezeway has a nest full of birds perched above it, and well...let's just say they tend to leave a lot of mess. I will say the office is pretty quick at responding if you do complain about the mess, but other than that, if you don't tell them about it, it'll remain for weeks. The pool doesn't look as if they clean it as often as they should, nor does the seating area that's located in front of the fitness center. Overall, I just don't feel as though they maintain the cleanliness of the complex as well as they should. Still would recommend living here because it seems as though they're trying.
Been living here for a year, about to renew. Great office staff and amazing maintenance. I love living here and would definitely recommend it. Also, got a great price compared to other nearby apartments with a shuttle to UTSA
its the worst place that you can live on, and you will pay for unknowing things that the make it for you i lived for a year and half and i found out that their goal is to let you broke the lease to pay them more its a smart idea but it cost you a lot.
I have lived at Broadstone Ranch for two years, in the smaller one bedroom. The first year was great, but the recent change in management companies has caused tons of problems for me. I have had over 3 different accounting errors from them and each time I brought it to there attention they did not take ownership of the mistake and blamed it on the previous management company. I also had a $35 credit from a previous balance where I had over paid my rent with the previous management company and the new management would not honor the credit because I did not have documentation of the credit. I can understand that the credit was not obtained by me during the time they took over but you would think they would want to work with a long term resident who causes no problems and is timely with rent payment. Also once the new management took over the property the entrance gate has not maintained working condition for longer then a few days. This was not the case before they took over. I also know that the property has had 3 resident’s homes broken into and vandalized in the middle of the day while the management staff was in their offices. The workout facility on property was in tip top condition until the new company came in. Now the TV’s in the cardio machines do not turn on, there are dried sweat stains all over the walls and equipment that only would require a quick wipe down. I guess the new management has other priorities then keeping things clean and in working condition.
I lived there for a year and love it. It was so convenient to be just a shuttle away from school. Never had maintenance problems. Carpets were brand new and everything looked so clean. No complaints at all. I love the kitchen and appliances. I also really appreciated the built in desks. I had no printer so I used the business center a lot and always available.
