From the moment we walked into the leasing office my husband and I were treated with the utmost kindness and respect. We have a few weeks yet before we are actually moved in, but from what we have seen so far there isn't one down side to The Preserve. The pricing and apartments are awesome, the community is beautiful and meticulously landscaped, and the staff provides world class service. After disappointment after disappointment at our current apartment complex, the Preserve at Hidden Creek has been a revitalizing breath of fresh air. We can't wait to move in!!!
We lived here for about 8 months and it was so unenjoyable that we finally decided to pay the ridiculous fee and terminate our lease. Long-time residents filed frivolous complaints constantly, yet there was always loud, underage drinking in the pool area after dark, even on weekdays, people throwing parties and jumping off of their balconies in the middle of the night, drunk residents stumbling around the parking lot...and nothing was ever done about any of it, even though the property manager and a few of the maintenance staff live on the premises. When one of the staff members need something from you, they will call you multiple times a day and badger you, regardless of the fact that the office is only open from 9-6, which is when most people are at work - common courtesy is to give someone 24 hours to call you back before calling again, and it wasn't ever an emergency situation. Additionally, it rained almost every day this past summer, and they still watered the grass (and all the sidewalks and parking lot!), usually DURING THE RAIN, and our community water bill was ALWAYS outrageous....more triple our personal bill, which is a lot considering the number of apartment units on the property. The office was notified of this multiple times by myself, and many of my neighbors, yet nothing was ever done. We were given apologies and told the sprinkler system must not be functioning properly...all. summer. long. The units themselves are decent. The appliances are old, but they're a good size and well maintained, but I think I would prefer a drama-less dumpster than deal with this place again.
