Paper thin walls with 0 insulation. Poor customer service.
We've lived here for 6 months now, and are still loving it! We live in the newer housing which is incredibly nice for the price you pay: 3 bdr, 2.5 ba, attached garage, back yard, etc. Since moving in, our furnace has gone out several times, and there have been a few minor fixes needed to the house. However, maintenance has always been very quick to respond and we have found them to be very nice and knowledgeable. I have several friends that live in here too, and they agree that the maintenance staff is great.
INCOMPETENT STAFF, look at the prior reviews on here. Customer service is horrible. I am an active duty service member, i.e. I'm part of the reason they HAVE A JOB. We have found a SNAKE in our house, mice, rodents etc despite having a tidy house. When this was brought to there attention they didn't care except when we got our chain of command involved. Anything that comes to there attention that is an issue regardless of what it is, there is answer is always "We'll look into xxx problem"--they never get back to you. PLEASE DO NOT move here!!! They are simply a bunch of warm bodies in the office that get paid to do NOTHING aside from showing the occasional house, which a monkey can do. Again please SAVE your money, don't let it go down the tubes to these idiots.
Lived here for 2 months - my take: 1. The newer units are quite nice. I live in a 3 br 2.5 ba unit with an attached garage and a backyard. For what I am paying, Good sized living room and kitchen area as well. I couldn't get close to this much value anywhere else. Everything was in great shape when I moved in, although there were quite a few cobwebs and dead flies in the window sills and garage. If you are thinking about renting here, ask them to clean it again before you move in, 2. Having a backyard is key. I have room to grill and I can even have a contained fire. Great for entertaining people. Some people have fenced in backyards for pets or small children. Fences are standard 3 ft chain link fences. Kind of an eyesore since one of my neighbors has it. 3. Rent is based on basic allowance for housing if you are military. They take the money straight from your paycheck, which for me is super convenient. 4. There is a decent pool and community area, including a skate park, ball fields, and a small fishing pond. 5. The location is perfect for anyone who works on area B. My commute is 4 minutes to the gate. 6. The area is patrolled by Air Force Security Forces. This is good and bad, good because there is a police presence to deter crime, and bad because they are kind of annoying to have around. Anytime the Force Protection level goes to Bravo or higher they check ID's coming in and out of the neighborhood. Overall: 4 stars. Great value, ok service, perfect location, and I'm living well.
I love it here! They have terrific resident functions. I've been at several other locations and military housing and no one comes close to offering these great events. Some houses are older, like mine, but they are painting the homes, can't wait until mine is painted. Customer service is good, very busy here. I wish that neighbors would pick up after thier pets and follow the rules! we all get a handbood and know what to do. I do not blame management, I blame the pigs! Most do the right thing though. They have more amenties than any other location in the area.
