The only positive about this apartment is the location for my work. Besides that I honestly tried to think of a positive but came up short. I do contract work so I need to do short leases because idk when I'll have to move next so I do month to month. Found out I'll be here for awhile so I go to leasing office to change to 3 month. Ask what the price is and it is nearly $200 more a month if I switch so I decline that but when I'm in the office they out of nowhere tell me since I'm not switching my month to month lease is gonna go up $300. I am appalled that they are able to do that so currently I'm looking for a new apartment. Maintenance people kind of show up whenever a week or two after request is submitted. Simple 10 minute job of replacing the soap dish in the shower. It lasts 3 days before falling off the wall. They have been over to replace the soap dish 3 times now so I'm waiting for this one to fall too. None of them last more than 5 days. I requested an additional entrance fob since I had a relative staying with me for a bit and they said machine is broken and they will get it to me. No big deal. I asked back in July and repeatedly ask about but it's still broken. Several doors from the parking garage are broken for weeks at a time with no repairs in site. I saw another comment about them ignoring you when you wait on a package. I've waited a couple times for up to 30 minutes before I was assisted. They require you to have Direct path for Internet and cable. No choice. Awful company with frequent slowdowns and outages. Please save yourself and find someplace else to stay. I'm currently looking for another place even if I have to make a longer commute because I want out. I'd rate this a 1 star but I know alot of people don't look at those.
Location is fantastic. But I agree that there had been drastic fall in the service after AMLI sold off the property. Sometimes thrash people don't show up, no response to maintenance request. Overall service level has gone done. AMLI had been great managing the property. Overall property is good but need to be managed efficiently. Apart from location convenience there is nothing much left.
Very good location, but the transition from AMLI to Bozzuto was an absolute disaster. I don't disagree with a lot of the things Maggie Smith wrote about, but I don't think it's quite as bad as she claims. The building is 10 years old and some apartments were much better kept than others. There are newer properties on Hammond that are newer and they charge a premium for them. There are also properties on Ashford Dunwoody that are cheaper and older. I agree, it's outrageous, but they charge "market rate." Bozzuto finally staffed up, replaced their original GM, and things are now better. I find the current maintenance guys are really attentive. Roaches are a component of the valet trash program, your neighbors, and the carpet. If you alert the front office, they will address it. I do recommend NOT living on the SW corner by the trash shoot, which does smell, nor on the east side facing Perimeter Pl. due to traffic, however the units are sometimes discounted as a result. Could it be better? Yes, I could be back in my old house, but for this particular area - it's not a bad compromise. I've lived in worse. The rent concern where they want to charge you $3 to auto debit results in me writing them a check. It probably costs them more than $3 to process my check manually. You're paying for the location. If you work at Cox or State Farm, living here will save you hours a day on your commute.
I love this building. I moved here after a divorce and it was my first time living as a single woman alone - so needless to say, safety was very important to me! I always feel safe here and haven't had a single incident since I moved in almost a year ago. I agree that the builders did not think through the location of the elevators in this building, but that has nothing to do with the management company, who has always gone out of their way to assist me. I would definitely recommend this building to my friends. There is a great mix of people: young professionals, singles with dogs, families with young kids and older adults. And you cannot beat the location!
I loved living at Amli Perimeter Place apartments. The staff was great and my apartment was very comfortable. The bedrooms on each end and everything at our finger tips. I moved to return home to Pennsylvania. Thank You for providing comfortable, safe place to live! Ledley
