Been here only a few months. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to moving here. Seen police cars making arrests in the neighborhood several times. Submit countless maintenance requests that seem to get ignored. Nobody ever answers the phone when you call the office. A huge disappointment - wish I would have signed a lease elsewhere. I will certainly be moving the day the lease ends
I've been here for almost two years, and I must say that the amount of rent they charge is too much for the quality of the living conditions, maintenance, and customer service. If you apartment or garage has a problem, expect it to take several days, weeks, or even months for it to be addressed. Seems like you have to threaten to withhold rent in order for them to do anything about it. Cabinet door hinges have been coming off, appliances breaking down, paint bleeding on the bathroom walls (even though I have the vent and both doors opened when showering), kitchen drawers not closing properly, etc. It was heat of the summer and my A/C went out. I called the office immediately and they said maintenance could not address it until the next day. It was unbearable. What if it was an elderly person, or a family with an infant. Totally unacceptable when its over 90 degrees outside. When I first moved in, lights were literally dangling out of the ceiling, and the floor in the hallway was coming up. The apartment wasn't even cleaned very well. I also was trying to get my U-verse set up and AT&T discovered the the phone connection was not operating. I told the property manager at the time and was told it would be taken care of. Almost two years later, it still hasn't been settled. So I had to go with a crappy internet service provider that charges double. The only positive thing I can say about that complex is the landscape is very nice and neighbors are generally quiet. If they try to rent you a 1 bedroom apartment for over $850, it is not worth it. You can get better living conditions and customer service elsewhere for that price.
New tenant BeWaRE!!!!#### we came to look at an apartment and was warned by resident that breaking and robbery have been happening on the premises the apartment complex people were very nice at first until the time we came in to fill out the papers to get an apartment a resident came in and said that their house had been broken into with no signs of forced entry they believe that a mantance worker has stole from him they believe that other tenants have been gettingthe re cars broken into. The residents were given any help and when we asked about the robberies I was told by the manager that there was nothing that they can do to make the property more safe all you can do is lock your doors and other than that they don't believe that maintenance stills even if there was proof they said they cant help. Car breakins and workers with keys to your apt and steal. We decided to go else were. Good luck and i wouldnt ignore this warning.
Other than being 30 years old, it is well maintained in a lush forested area of Canyon Crest bordering on the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park a preserve. Our maintenance is usually very prompt. We had a new dishwasher, and two new toilets at our request. Been here 4 1/2 years and will stay. The veiw out of our back patio is serene, very quiet and we see owls, hawks, coyotes howling, and many song birds, humming birds, and squirrels. 1/4 mile easy walk to Canyon Crest Towne Center and Andulka Park. Close to Central Ave and exit on 215 UC Riverside easy bike trip or take the # 16 RTA to UCR in less than five minutes. Would do it again.
I'm a new resident to the property but even from day one, everyone has been extremely nice and understanding. I can't say enough good things about the staff! The location is amazing, the property is clean and the residents seem happy. So far, so good. Couldn't be happier :)
