I did an application there and signed the papers to transfer electricity in October, maybe even the end of August 2015 and was approved with a move in date of Novermber 14th. I decided not to lease there and forfeithed my deposit. I called the same day to entergy and cancelled the request to transefer sevices for November as i would not be leaving for Houston until the end of December. This was all done a month prior to the move in date. This company took it upon themselves to CALL in and change over my electricity which cut off the lights at my current home and displaced my 2 year old and I. When i called them on Monday morning at 9 am about this, after verifying through Entergy they in fact did call and do this, i was told by the manager Joshua that he was pulling my file right then and checking into this and would call me back. At 2pm still no call, mostly becasue i requested for them to refund me my 280.00 for the hotel i had to get over the weekend. I called for an hour and no one answered. I talked to the leasing office to get a number for upper management, or the property managers and was told all they could tell me was i could fill out a complaint. This does nothing for me at all. Called back to the office and Lee answered and did not want to give me much information just told me that their was somone of upper management however would not give me their info like i was requesting and told me the manager in the office was the person to handle this situation. But I the customer wanted to deal with someone else at this point. This is horrible customer service and leaves most people whom don't have the resources to take this further, left stuck feeling like they just lost out and give up. Luckily for me i have the resource and a lawyer already on retainer. Little crap like this need to be addressed or else it will just keep happening to others. 2005 when i lived here it was a wonderful establishment. I am not sure what has happened. I would of given a zero but they wont allow you to publish this without rating at least one star.
Do not live here, not alone, and don't bother going outside at night if you do. This complex is NOT safe. April 25th 2014 I was robbed at gun point 10 feet from my front door, the gates were broken at the time so the robber drove in, came at me with a gun, told me not to scream and took all my stuff, then went around town and drained my bank account with my debit card. I'm always hearing screaming at night and people don't follow the general rules and hang around and loiter, and if you do get robbed the complex is unsympathetic to the situation, refuse to let you out of the lease, and if you ask to be relocated they'll try to put you in a smaller apartment for more rent, or just move you upstairs from where you were robbed, which does nothing for your peace of mind. It's dated, you can hear every sound outside the windows, the windows were broken when I moved in, I requested them to fix or replace them and their method of fixing it is just screwing them shut, but the caulking still wasn't sealed and you heard the wind howl through. They AC now has been recharged three times but still goes out to which they'll only recharge it. Mailboxes are in disrepair, and usually not closed right so anyone could easily pull your mail from the slots... if your neighbors have a dog? You'll hear it scratching itself through the floors and walls, which are so paper thin. Maintenance is fast, and management is seemingly courteous but as they're owned by a company that owns like 5 other properties they don't really care for you, but for the most part your safety and sanity is NOT worth this place.
