I have not had a bad experience with the staff and the Maintenance worker has been great. That being said, they tried to up our rent to $1300 for 850sq feet. The size is not even the worst part!! is the fact that the cabinets are just bland particle board, countertops outdated and stained from the previous decade of renters, the window in our bathroom was put in wrong, mold builds up in the bathroom even though we clean it often, parking sucks, there has been flooding by the stairs to our building for the past 1.5 years whenever it rains, snow is rarely removed from sidewalks, kids have vandalized the buildings once a month during the warm months, the pool is always closed due to vandalism, they claimed that sound does not leak through walls but we hear the neighbors screaming at each other and upstairs people walking around (non-stop noise). The mail is delivered by some guy in his personal car and they lost mail more than once. The office will not hold your boxes and UPS and FedEx have sent boxes back to senders without even leaving notes on our door. This place is TERRIBLE! Vandalism, domestic violence issues, mold, standing water on side walks, most amenities are old and non functional!!! IF I WANTED TO LIVE IN THE GHETTO, I WOULD HAVE MOVED TO MISSISSIPPI AND COLFAX!!!
This was going to be a 4 star review until I received a letter stating I owed money upon move out. First the pros: The location was good, my apartment was ground level near the pool and trails that lead to cherry creek stay park. The staff was pretty helpful and mostly friendly. The cons: Lots of bugs and mice on the first floor. We even found a snake in the apartment once. Pet fee is high and does not count towards anything except their bank account. Constantly doing something in the parking lot that requires you to move somewhere even when you pay for a spot. Your water bill is included with your rent and for a 3 bedroom it was 95 a month which is unbelievable. The last thing is what killed their rating with me. I received a letter stating I needed to pay on top of my deposit for cleaning. I have never had to pay when leaving an apartment and cleaned for three days just to make sure I could get my deposit back. That is shady to me along with offering a renewal with a 35% increase in rent. They were doing good but in the end I would not recommend the hassle. It is a low rent for the area for a reason.
This is a terrible establishment. Avoid this place like the plague. They were unresponsive to maintenance requests, and their units are the lowest quality I've seen in the area. My girlfriend and I spent hours cleaning before move-out and they are now trying to charge me $181.00 for cleaning and maintenance, after they already kept my $200.00 security deposit. We took excellent care of the apartment and these are fraudulent charges that we will not be paying. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
I currently live here, PARKING SUCKS!!!!!!! They have no problem getting the cops to come out and write you a parking ticket. ALSO i think we may have a serious mold issue. Other than those 2 things, I love the natural lighting and vaulted ceilings!
I currently live here and there have been so many times that I have been blown away by the kindness of the front office staff. Jessica and Chantel especially have always been willing to go above and beyond for me! I have had a few things I asked for to be fixed, EVERYTHING was done with a day or two. That is fabulous and almost unheard of in apartments. I am very happy with my decision to rent here. The apartment is HUGE for what you pay, big patio, vaulted ceilings, HUGE windows, tons of natural light, the list goes on and on. I rarely need lights because the whole apartment has so much natural light from almost every angle. Highly recommended!
