I am very impressed with the Stone Arch staff and system (as well as the building and amenities..) Deanna was very helpful and professional in explaining the process and various programs/options available. Their email notification system to tell you about available apartments is a very fair and convenient way to update prospective residents. While I rented elsewhere due to time constraints, I would highly recommend Stone Arch Apartments. It is in such a beautiful setting and is a central location to most things awesome in Minneapolis.
Very, very poor management. Noisy, pet owners are often rude and don't clean up after themselves. Apartments are much cheaper quality, with almost no amenities compared to Mill and Main next door. Don't waste your time, they'll overcharge for everything and be difficult to deal with. The only perks were the view, and Sarah in the leasing office and Mary in maintenance. Both very nice, helpful people. Ps. No weights, one treadmill and an elliptical in a glorified closet does NOT a workout room make.
Living at Stone Arch apartments has been nothing but exceptional for me over the past 2.5 years. What makes Stone Arch truly special is their front office staff (Deanna, Christy, Sara, David). The staff is able to help tenants with maintenance issues, taking delivery of packages, reserving fire pit for parties, and addressing all other concerns. You can walk right into their office 6 days/ week, Monday-Saturday. With any apartment, minor things will break and need occasional repair. The front desk and maintenance staff was able to address all problems immediately and fix them within 24 hours (you won’t find this at other apartments!) Stone Arch is also ideal for dog lovers. I raised a golden retriever puppy here and it was great to have a private dog park for all residents. Also, being so close to the Stone Arch bridge, paths & trails was a huge plus. Underground parking is great during winter along with a workout facility (no charge, included in rent) in both apartment complexes (601 and 701). There is also a surface car lot directly outside the 601 building. I would recommend Stone Arch apartments to anyone who works downtown, northeast MPLS, U of M. There is direct access to bus lines on University as well as bike trails. The apartment is located 1 block from historic Main Street restaurants. It has been a great experience living at Stone Arch apartments!
I've lived here for 7 months as of the posting of this review, and I have not had any complaints. I'm generally a picky person when it comes to living spaces, too. It's one of the most pet friendly and conveniently located rental apartments in the area. The design of the building reflects the industrial feel of this part of the city. Mostly shades of gray and blonde wood tones are used all throughout, so it's easy on the eyes. The floor to ceiling windows keep the interiors well lit to the point that I never need to use any of my own lights except occasionally late at night. There are staff members on location 6 days a week who allow you to walk right into their office for any questions and concerns. I highly recommend this location to people who love downtown life, but don't want the noise and traffic.
