Very nice, clean and private..
From what I hear about the rent, it's pretty pricey. My rent's being paid for by my company so I wouldn't know about that. However, when I was to move to Pittsburgh, I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else. The cons are the train noise (there's a bridge where trains go over pretty close to the one side of the complex and the other dividing Homestead into Waterfront and somewhere I would avoid to live like a plague), traffic can be iffy since one of the 4 places you can exit out of Waterfront (which most uses) has 3 train tracks (I've waited close to 10 minutes once because there were 3 trains) but those were about it. The rental people were amazingly nice. (They even had breakfast for us one day) When I had a problem, they had someone in my apartment the next day and got it fixed. The apartment and the area itself is very well maintained (but you'd expect that in the Waterfront). I have a second/top floor of my building with no one above me so I'm not sure how much you can hear when people are above you. The residents in general are pretty nice/quiet ranging from yuppies to small families. I'm enjoying this apartment. I'll be sad when I move out in August to be close to my work/school.
