I lived here for 12+ months and never really had any major issues, except when my neighbor towed my boyfriends truck out of MY assigned space because he was "on the line". The leasing office did say that was not allowed and they had to pay the tow fee. There is not a lot of parking. The leasing ladies are average as far as politeness. BEWARE of HUGE electric bills! The apartments are old, not well insulated or weather stripped. We're talking $225 for electric in January for a less than 1,000 square foot apartment with only two exterior walls. About 12 mos after vacating they called threatening legal action because my old roommate had contacted them about her deposit... when they cut me a check in my name only for the entire deposit amount. THEY were the ones who messed and are now threatening me? I told them and the ex roommate to get lost as she owed $300 plus in unpaid utilities.
This has been the best experience so far. There were a couple things wrong with the apartment when I moved in and they were all fixed within the first week! The staff is super friendly and applying was painless. Parking is a little hard and the carport is for ever away.
I've lived here for over a year and a half and HATE IT! I upgraded my lease to a 2 bed/2 bath in December. They were supposed to refund my pet rent in December since my dog is a service dog and I transferred apartments and they STILL have NOT given it back to me. I've gone in at least once a week since December to ask about it and I've gotten no where. The manager gave me the corporate ladies phone #, so I called and left a message. This corporate lady (Toni Moyes) never called me back but had the apartment manager call me to tell me she was doing something with corporate. Been a week since then and I still do not have my money. How can they seriously expect me to pay my rent on time and if I don't I get a late fee or evicted, but they cannot give me the money they owe me?
We moved in because we liked the location and the price. Have been here for 3 months and I wish I could break the lease. We have an "upgraded" apartment. The only real "upgrades" are appliances that arn't from the 1980's. We moved in and there were sugar ants all over the place and huge hobo spiders in the closets and corners. We were able to get rid of the ants but beetles have moved in and the spiders are everywhere. We killed three in one weekend. The toilet leaks and the sinks don't drain. Parking is horrible. One spot per apartment and the rest have to park in the street. The pool has not been heated since we have been here. And the hot tub is cold half the time as well. For being in a good area of town the police are here an awful lot. SWAT was here about a week ago. I don't feel safe when my husband is not home.
